Ended up here tonight we are up very high what a beautiful place the view is stunning had dinner at the hotel the food was delicious  the staff very friendly  before we arrived at the hotel emerich we called at terezin .terezin is a former military fortress walled garrison it was also used as a ghetto  and a concentration camp in the second world war it is worth a visit full of history showing what the Jews had to go though

Road trip cont

Purpose built ski lodge on 3 floors with spectacular views of mountain ranges and valley life down below. Difficult to find but persevere by following the occasional signs . final approach in summer is via a single track road with no passing places. Winter access is by snow mobile only!!.
Well organised and clean, quiet in summer. Run with Teutonic efficiency, breakfast, doors locked and barriers down all on time.
Breakfast had a good range including fried eggs and sausages.

If you book pay the small surcharge for room with balcony, views are worth it.restaurant only caters for 1/2 board guests in the evening presumably due to low demand.
Plenty of places to eat in the village if you can get over the sullen
 style of service that seems to be the norm in Czech rep
Excellent area for walking /biking trips
