A small compact hotel with its own restaurant, children's playroom, sauna and room for ski equipment storage.
Pros.
Large room with everything you need. 
Windows with a view of the street and hotel restaurant entrance. We were afraid that in the evening or at night it would be noisy. But since the restaurant are open until 22:00, the noise did not bother us.
The service staff is helpful and friendly. Moreover, we often played with our children in the playroom. The room is not big, the toys are old, but there are enough toys to entertain a small child. The presence of the game room made our life much easier in bad weather. In the ski equipment storage we often left the pram, which was very convenient.
Good breakfasts with everything you need. We were never hungry.
Minuses.
The hotel is old, needs repair. Especially annoying bedding. Sheets are so old, in the pellets, that I could not sleep on them. I slept on a blanket, covered with a blanket.
Bad cleaning. For the week of my stay there, towels have not changed even once. They took out only the garbage and vacuum cleaned the room. In the closet, I found someone's dirty socks.
Sometimes during the breakfast, if I came late, I had to wait a long time for food to be carried out, which was already taken apart.
Despite the downsides, I really liked the hotel.

Good hotel for a great stay

Hotel Krokus is located in the center of Pec pod Snezkou,ideal location. 
I made a reservation for 3 nights.
The hotel's parking lot was full so i was told to park on the public for pay parking lot a bit higher up the street. Reception closes at 6 so be there on time if you want to get in. The guy at the reception potentially had a rough day. Check in took some time, he gave me two discount cards for the activities in the city and I left with the one that was not working properly. But this I found out the next day. 
The rooms are on the two upper floors. My room was sufficiently big with a small TV set and a view on the terrace of the nearby restaurant. The mattress was way too soft for me to have a good night sleep. Also, in the bathroom I detected some dirt.
The breakfast is in a separate room downstairs and was of average quality. On the last morning, there were only three guests (and still no parking space for me on the hotel parking lot) and we had a tailored made breakfast in the restaurant, prepared by an Italian and it was much better than the days before.
I would go for another hotel in Pec pod Snezkou.

You get what you pay for

Clean, comfortable and friendly, all of which are a rarity in this village. Basic accommodation but everything you need. The food in the restaurant is excellent and Mario who runs it is lovely. Breakfast is standard but fine. The lad at reception does his very best to help you despite limited English or German. A good cheap base in a not very welcoming village.

Hotel is directly at the center, walking distance from the cable way to Snezka. Behind the hotel are few parking places, but the number is limited.
Nevertheless the hotel is nice with little rooms, but I'd expect that you come to see something outside (if you have better weather than we ;-)
Part of the hotel is a restaurant, where you can choose one of great food.
Wifi, breakfast is standard.

Perfect location at the center

Good  value friendly hotel close to the ski lift.  Make sure your get a temporary residence pass from reception as this gives a big saving on the ski lift.

Ideally located for walking, cycling and skiing( downhill and cross country).  

Most of the staff speak some English so communication is no problem.  

It gets busy in the ski season so book well in advance.
