A lovely hotel in a truly lovely old historic town in southern Bohemia. The location of the hotel is a 1 minute walk to the main square where there is an abundance of eateries and cafes and shops. Our breakfast was outstanding and I would strongly recommend booking room no.2 . Palatial !

Great service, great rooms , great location. 

What was good: Hotel is in the city centre, but you have to pay for the parking. Building is acient, very nice architecture.
Nice, homemade dinner in a restaurant inside hotel.

What wasn't so good:  Hotel is old, with old furniture, it is cold and dark, room was very ancient with strange smell, smell was everywhere in the hotel (like it was combustibles or something they heating the place and of course cleaning chemicals).
It is appropriate stop for one night rest, breakfast was very poor, coffee was not good.
During the dinner in a restaurant there was some girls celebrating something and making a lot of noise and it was very disturbing, but restaurant staff just ignored them and for us after very long ride by car it was just "something what we really needed".

Good for one night stay

The room was quaint with awesome views out to the courtyard and castle. Staff were friendly and helpful, obliging us to lock our bikes in a secure room. We loved the town and how we were so close to the square and the castle - it made for great walking options.
Though they have a real coffee machine, the breakfast coffee was terrible almost spoiling the 'ok' breakfast which was a weak point to begin with.

I had specifically chosen Hotel Bila Pani for my stay in pretty JH but overall I was quite disappointed. The position is great, in a quiet road in front of the castle entrance, and the building looks positively quaint and cosy from the outside, but the good part ends here. Well no, I must also say that the young lady who seemingly worked 24/7 doubling as receptionist and waitress was very kind and helpful. However, my room, in spite of some visible attempt to look pretty, was "tired", with very very poor sound proofing against the street (double glazing is highly recommended) and the other rooms, to the point that I could clearly hear the conversations of my neighbours. The bathroom needs some serious reconstruction, with old appliances hardly doing their job and some very strange colour choice. The worst thing though was the breakfast. If the breakfast is served until 10, this MUST mean that at 9:30 most items must be available. This was not the case during my visit: at 9:30 nearly nothing was left, including coffee, juices, sweet pastries and also cutlery and plates. Annoying. The price for the rooms pretty low though, which makes the whole experience acceptable.

Average at most

During our trip through the Czech Rep. we stayed at Hotel Bila Pani. It is located right I the centre of the old city. There is no parking at the hotel but there is free parking about 7 min walk from the hotel. There is no formal entrance where you can check in. You do that at the bar to the left of the main entrance. The rooms were clean, spacious  and comfortable. Our room was facing a little park at the front of the building top floor. There is no elevator/lifts so stairs are the main way up. There is no A/C so open windows and a fan were used to help keep it cool that night since it was a hot summer day. There is also  a restaurant which we had dinner and breakfast the next morning (buffet). The breakfast is a typical eastern European breakfast; meats, cheese, breads, pastries, yogurts, fruit/veggies, jams/spreads, eggs, coffee, teas and juices. The evenings are fairly quiet. There is also a bar down stairs, but the patrons were quiet. You  may hear people walking by talking during the evening but that did not bother us. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and would most decently stay again.

Old hotel, nice location.

Stopped the night and hotel was a 2 star type option . Clean,simple and comfortable and a good price . Has a restaurant and a bar/pub as part of ground floor . Get the keys from the bar as there is not really a formal reception . No car parking with hotel but the town centre free car park is 4 mins walk from the hotel .

The location of Hotel Bílá Paní  3* is quite good. It is located in the historic town centre of Jindřichův Hradec, realy only a few steps from the main square and all historical attractions of this pretty small town in South Bohemia. My car navigation knew the right location well but be carefull - hotel parking lot is not in this address. You need to park your car in some common court ca 100 metres far from the hotel. I think this parking place is not secured and is free accessible 24 hours. I didn 't have good feeling when I left there my car.

The reception is in the hotel pub. My first feeling wasn 't very positive. But I must say the receptionist was kind. The common spaces and corridors looks not very modern but overall it is simply the average of hotels in such small towns. 

When I entered the room, the first feeling was not bad - pretty average room. Corridor with one wardrobe, in the right side the 2 beds-room, in the left side bathroom. In average-looking room there was a flat-TV (with czech and austria channels) and some furniture (see picture). I must say my room was the best room what we had with colleagues in this hotel.  My collegues had much worse rooms - one was very old equiped - with old bed, equiped by old bookcase and even full of old books.  Bathroom was also very average-looking - new but not modern. There was wc and shower (see picture).

But the second look was not so good. I had serious problem with the tidiness. In the shower corner there was an empty bag from shower gel. Because it was very hot day I wanted to take shower. Although it was evening when I entered to the shower corner there it was still wet from previous guest. And the toilet wasn 't flushed. Disgusting.

The hotel restaurant has nice garden placed to the street. Service was very average. The cuisine is bellow average, services are average, prices good. The breakfasts are served in upper restaurant (this place is probably used usualy for renting for courses or closed society). The level of breakfast is very week - too small choice. You can't get even something hot - no sausages, no eggs. No dark bread and all served products are very cheap.

The only one advantege of the Hotel Bílá Paní Jindřichův Hradec is price. It is very cheap. But overall I see this hotel bellow average. My main problem was the bad cleaning of my room.
