Good price for the service. Another benefit is that the hotel is located directly at the center of the town. For breakfast we had to go to another hotel (same owner as I remember) it wasn't so comfortable. Also there weren't many options for the breakfast.

Good price and great location

Dirty tables in front of the hotel ' rest of cigarettes and so on...the whole day. Nobody at the reception, wow. We had to call. Horrible room, single sold as a double. No change possible, they saíd. Nowhere to leave yr luggage the next day.... Cleaness Inside the room ok, however corridor downstairs no. One soap missing. Hot and tiny attic w/smaller matrace than the bed. Rather look for another htl.

An old house that was transformed to a hotel.
The rooms were small. The wifi was a tragedy. The room's fridge wasn't even connected to electric. The reception was constantly closed. The personnel doesn't speaks English. 
Breakfast was above average. The restaurant is very good.

Avoid it

Hotel canceled our group reservation before arrival evenif we had valid confirmation from them. Explanation was, that they have right to do it.... what to say else, AVOID THIS HOTEL if you want to have a guarantee, that you will really have a room.

This review is written in czech and english.

V hotelu jsme strávili celkem 3 noci během Velikonoc 2017. Při zavolání do hotelu Vám nabídnou několik velikonočních balíčků, ale do emailu dostanete jen jeden. Náš konkrétně zahrnoval (pobyt na 3 noci v luxusně zařízených a prostorných pokojích se snídaní, překvapení na pokoj, poukázka na 300Kč do hotelové restaurace, další pozornosti hotelu). Po příjezdu na hotel najdete na recepci ceduli „jsem v restauraci.“ Když přijdete do restaurace, tak na vás koukají jako na vetřelce a zeptají se „co chcete?“ Poptáte se po paní recepční a odpoví Vám, že ji pošlou na recepci. Tam přijde otrávená paní majitelka za 10min se slovy „co chcete?“ Ochota sama. Když řeknete, že máte rezervovaný pobyt s velikonočním balíčkem, tak se začne vyptávat jaký balíček a nakonec chce Váš email, aby našla co Vám vůbec nabídla. Informace o snídaních z ní musíte tahat. Hotel se navíc chlubí úžasnou hypoalergenní technologií.
Po příchodu na „luxusní“ pokoj najdete hned u dveří plíseň, pokoj je malý a k luxusu má hodně daleko. Vrátila jsem se tedy na recepci (paní už tam zas nebyla) se žádostí o změnu pokoje, ale řekne mi, že jsou historickou budovou a že jsou plní. Když jí požádáte, aby se na stav pokoje šla podívat, tak odmítne, že nemá čas, plíseň tam není a nikdo si nestěžoval – takže jste vlastně divní Vy.
Koupelna je malá a do sprchy musíte vejít přes záchod. Masážní kout je rozbitý (světli je zrezlé a nesvítí, 2/3 vody tečou jinde než chcete a vytěkají ven ze sprchy, držák hlavice je urvaný). V posteli se propadnete díky chybějícím částem roštu a pod postelí je prachu za 3 města. Nevím, kde je tedy ta hypoalergenní věc použita. 
Snídaně jsou slabé, o jídlo si musíte prosit, příbory a nádobí nejsou a musíte čekat několik minut až se někomu zachce pracovat.
Překvapení k pobytu byla sušenka, kterou nám nedali. 300Kč poukázku jsme nevyužili – v neděli jsme do restaurace chtěli v 17h zajít, ale paní majitelka rychle prchala pryč z hotelu. V restauraci je uvedeno „otevřeno, „ ale dveře jsou zamčené a pro jistotu před nimi velký květináč, aby tam nikdo nešel. Když paní majitelce zavoláte, tak Vám řekne, že je zavřeno a že máte jít druhý den na oběd. Slovo milá v jejím případě nepoužijete nikdy. 
Poslední den jsme si tedy místo 300Kč poukázky odvezli to „nejdražší víno.“ Paní majitelka odmítá sepsat stížnost, že nemá čas atd. Doklad EET Vám nedá (prý mi ho dávala, ale to je kec), vydá Vám fakturu bez VS atd. Myslím, že je to zralé na kontrolu z hygieny a finančáku. Celé je to tam zvláštní, ale hlavní je, že má paní majitelka luxusní auto. Po městě se pak dozvíte, že už jeden hotel v Písku zruinovala. V hotelu jsem potkala náhodou kamaráda a ten si prý také stěžoval na pokoj vč. plísně atd.
We spent in the hotel 3 nights during the Eastern 2017. When we called to the hotel and asked for their offer of eastern packages they tol dus that they do have 3 but in the email they sent only one! Our package had included (stay for 3 nights on BB in luxury and spacious rooms, surprise in the rooms, voucher for 300CZK to its restaurant and some more surprises from hotel). Upon arrival to the hotel we found a board at the reception that responsible person is in the restaurant. When you came to the restaurant everyone is staring at you like you are an alian and they asked you „what you want“ (not in polite way). When you ask for a person from reception you have to go back to the reception and wait 10min when came a weary owner (a lady) of the hotel and with the same „polite voice“ asked you „what you want.“ Honestly what could I want at the reception? – meat,toys etc? I told her that we have made a reservation for its eastern package. At that moment she doesnt know as per you name what you have and asked you for the email to try to find it in PC (weird). If you want to know about the breakfast you have to ask. She is not willing to tell you anything. One more extra funny thing – hotel is representing with its antiallergic technology in every room. 
When you came to your „luxury“ and „spacious“ room you see i tis really small (app. 15 sq.m.) and you cant definitely speak about luxury over there. Next to the door you can find mould. I went back to the reception and lady has been again gone. I found her and told that we want to change the room because of the mould etc. She refused to go there as she is „busy“ (noone has been in the restaurant) and told me that we are the only one complayning about mould so we lie and anthing is there. On the other way hotel is a historic building and is fully occupied. The bathroom is really some and if you want to have a shower you have to jump over the toilet. The shower with massage service is broken (lights is broken and covered with blight, 2/3 of water is floating everywhere outside the shower, holder for the shower is abrupt. In the bed you fall through due to the missing parts of the grid and can she big amount of dus tunder the bed. Honestly I am really curious where is the antiallergic technology as this is far away from what I imagined.
The breakfast are weak. It should be buffet style but you have to ask for food, cutlery etc. And wait Xmin if someone will start to work. 
The surprice was 1!!! biscuit fro 2 persons. And noone gave it to us. Employees just tol dus „sorry“ and thats all. The voucher for 300CZK we did not use. We came to the restaurant on Sunday at 5pm and saw the owner running from the hotel. When you came to the restaurant there are opening hours and as per it should be opened. But the doors are locked and in front is standing a big flower pot. So it means „closed.“ We have tried to called the owner and she told us that on Sun is closed and we can come next day for lunch – no way for us! – or také a next day wine instead of lunch. So we have took the „most expensive“ wine and went home. We asked the owner to write a complaint but she refused again. She is providing all necessary bills as per czech law. I think czech financial office and hygienic office shoudl visit this hotel. The owner has a really luxury car but doesnt care about clients. When you go through the city you will hear that she has already ruined one hotel there. I have met in the hotel one of my schoolmate
