To be fair we did not spend the night but we did send several for what was described as a delicious lunch and we were all allowed to use the WC which was in great shape.  The meals described were quite appealing.

Very good restaurant at the Hotel Stramberk. 
Super menu card with various choices. 
Was drinking he local draft beer and it was good an strong as I like it. 
5 people got 5 different dishes which was served after 60 minutes  but we were warned at the menu card. 


Dinner at the restaurant 

This is about the hotel restaurant only as we didn't stay at the hotel but only used the restaurant.
We were 11 people out for dinner and all had starters and a main course, and some of us had coffees afterwards.
The beers - and we had plenty, like 3 to 4 per person - were from the next-door microbrewery, which was a very nice choice as they were very tasty. The wine by the glass some of us got was also really nice.
On the food, the servings were large and we all had PLENTY to eat. The starters were good and the steaks most of had was very nicely cooked and tender like butter.
The price....? This was almost ridiculous - for 11 persons I paid CZK 5299.00 which equals around EUR 195..... I have never eaten this well for such a low price.
If in the area - whether staying at the hotel or not - try this restaurant.

Very Nice and Attractively Priced Restaurant

When we came to the hotel the lady in the recepcion told us that we cant park our car in the city couse its event in the town and we had to park the car on parking central. We asked her for the Taxi because we had 3 luggages but she told us that there is no Taxi and the parking is close to the hotel. The true was that the parking was more than 1 km from the hotel and we had to carry our luggage all the way to the hotel . And of course the Taxi exist in Stramberk. We dont know why the lady who works in this hotel is so lazy and unpolite!
Another thing : beer baths. We paid for one hour and we had only 20 min of bath. And the lady from baths recepcion told us that we cant even talk to each other during the bath. It was frustrating. 
On the other day when we came to eat breakfast at 8 am (the breakfast should be from 8 to 10 am) they told us to wait a minute. So we came again after 15 min and the woman from the kitchen just closed the door to the restaurant in front of me. At 8,30 door was still closed so we left the hotel without breakfast. 
The city of Stramberk is really great and beautiful but hotel Stramberk not! We will come back to Stramberk for sure but not to this hotel !!

Dissapointing

I stayed 2 nights during weekdays for business. A nice and friendly young lady at the reception did her outmost best to welcome me. A parking permit for my car on the square was prepared. So far, so good. My double bed room (no 8) was right under the roof with the unlucky result that it was very hot (no airco) and uncomfortable to reach the bed or stand in the bath (angled roofs). The minibar faced the same problem; thereby the drinks were not really cold. The hotel offers free WiFi, but although the strength of the signal was very good, I couldn't connect to the internet in my room. I complained, but no solution except moving myself to the restaurant area. So be it. Next, I wanted to combine work with diner (whatelse can you do alone on business trip), but there comes the next dissapointement, they wouldn't serve me for the reason they had a group of 20 persons, although they have place for 50?! It's how I found out the beer brewery (see my review) in the opposite of the hotel. Coming to the breakfast, offered in buffet, that was good...with eggs, meat, cheese, bread, yoghurt and good coffee! At the end, I'll probably pick another hotel for my business trip in that area.
