Poor and not very clean room for high price. The room is small for two beds,.
Terrible breakfast, given evening without explanation.
Lazy owner, who doesnt want provider comfortable accommodation, but invoice.
Very expensive for this (no) quality.

The worst experience in Stramberk

Awfully dated hotel. Dark and dingy restaurant. Toilet never seen bleach or any cleaning product before. Our room was never cleaned! Hand towels in room to dry body with! We have waited ages for food while the place was empty. View from our window was directly to next doors house toilet…you can imagine what noises were coming out of it! Absolutely shocking! Got told we can park in the hotel carpark but never been told that it’s chargeable. When we tried to leave we got blocked by someone that had a party there, and even though they seen us trying to get out nobody bothered to get up and move their car! We’ve stayed in 5 stars hotel in Brno which was cheaper than this 3 star hole! 
Staff was very nice very helpful that’s the best thing about our experience in this hotel.

Awful Hotel. In need of full renovation!

The hotel is the centre of the neighborhood where famous Czech athletes were born. The speciality of the local cuisine is so called "Štramberske uši" (Stramberské uši), nice piece of the local confectionery product. No challenges in the hotel, I am pleased to say.

Very good for tourists

Hotel location on the square is perfect. The hotel ìs basic but fine. Room had high ceilings shower and tv with No  English channels . Breakfast  is very basic , coffee good. No chef on duty for the 5 night's we stayed ! Good choices in the square, for food and beers.  So really its a B&B!  Price was low . Nice sitting outside with a beer.

Friend has mentioned of Stramberk a long while. Finanlly we have made it the trip to there this Easter. The city is tiny and compact: beautiful, cozy and warm for a comfortable walk. Friend recommend us to stay in this hotel. We enjoyed our stay with good night sleep and relax and recharge ourself in full speed. A relax and good Easter getaway we have. we feel welcome from the very begining check-in till check out.

cozy & memorable place

Hotel sipka is located in a small square with various other hotel and a couple of bars and restaurants. It's an extremely quiet place with everything closed by 10.00p.m and sometimes earlier.  Need to have eaten by 9 or won't get served anywhere.  You need to hire a car to get anywhere as there us very little public transport , in fact I didn't see any.  The best things to do are go and have a beer bath and massage at the sipka, very good. Go to autswich, about an hour half drive into Poland but definitely worth a visit. The weather was terrible when we were there it rained all week, but I would imagine if sunny there would have been some lovely walks with amazing scenery. People are generally very friendly but very little English speaking so take a phrase book. The summer months are apparently busier, we went in September so not very much open. Great for walkers, but not a place to entertain children. The hotel breakfast is basic but enough, it's is very cheap there, you can't spend money even if you try. The rooms are old fashioned and basic, but clean. The beds are very uncomfortable. If you are a tea drinker, take your own, they only do herbal tea.

Holiday in Czech Republic

This is a very pleasant small hotel.  Rooms are large, clean and well serviced. The restaurant very nice and serves good food.  Breakfast is basic but acceptable. The location on the square is excellent with parking out front.  Recommended.
