The main square of Telč is beautiful, the whole town can easily be explored on foot, we had asked for a nice view (and got it). The room (no 3) was great, comfy bed, modern bathroom, and breakfast was also good, served in a cosy room and it will be even nicer in summer (when people can use the little garden)
Hint: park the car just briefly in front to unload your luggage, then take it to the town parking back through the gate, take two right turns, and you're there. Put in 60 Kč in coins for 24h and walk back across the little footbridge

Very nice townhouse hotel, well renovated, great location with view, nice breakfast

Location right on the main square was awesome.  We had a top-floor room (apartment, really, since it had a kitchenette and a small area with a couch and TV) that had a window that looked out on the square.  Couldn't be beat location-wise!  Telč is small, so the castle, etc., is all within a 5–10-minute walk.  The staff was great, both friendly and helpful.  Breakfast was really good with a lot of options and some homemade spread for the bread.  The location of the breakfast, in the cellar, is really cool, and makes for a neat experience.  Everything was clean and in working order.  We liked our rooms.  Wi-Fi worked just fine.  We would consider staying again. 

Parking.  It's a bit of a disaster.  You can drive up to the hotel to unload your stuff, but then you have to go park off-site at a public, pay parking lot.  They give you a card to get in for free.  Then you walk the 5 minutes or so back to the hotel.  It's a pretty walk, but still, not convenient.  (Parking on the square is something like 100 crowns an hour, though, so it's also not an option.)  Also, you have to have some collateral for your parking pass, which was annoying, but I understand why they do it.  Cash only is always a problem.

Incredible location; otherwise good, too

This B&B is an amazing location smack in the middle of the beautiful square in Telc. Both of our rooms had the view of the square. Rooms were clean with decent furnishing. The B&B arranged for a taxi cab for us to pick us up from the bus station and drop us off after our stay as well.  Breakfast was included and it was delicious. 

Now a couple of things that could use some improvement....PILLOWS. A single small pillow is not enough for some guests. I did not request more so I'm not sure if they are available upon requests.....and...TOWELS....One fairly small (hand towel size) towel per bed. We managed but having a good size towel is always better
Still, when we visit Telc next time we won't hesitate to book our rooms at Pension Telc No. 20 again!

Amazing location, great service

This is a beautiful Pension right on Telc Square. The room was large, beautiful and the breakfast room delightful with fresh pastries, cheese and meats daily. We stayed two nights and would have loved to stay more. This is a quiet town except during festivals and deserves time to walk around the ponds and enjoy the peacefulness of this lovely town offers.

We have stayed for two nights in Pension Telč No. 20. Everyone was friendly and very helpful in this place. Interior was super clean and well furnitured. Sensitive reconstruction gives the special atmosphere to every room you step in. Location is great. Beds comfortable. All well.
