Hotel Bethel 

Very good soundproofing in the room. Even right on the corner of Nynhavn we heard no out side noise. We did get to watch the bridge lifting right from our bedroom window though! That was good. We stayed here for a few days post cruise. We arrived incredibly early! But this wasn't a problem we we offered a coffee and the opportunity to drop our bags until check in. On check out the same, which was great. The room was ready on time, spacious as advertised , clean and very comfortable with amazing views of Nynhavn ( rm 322 a corner superior ) A large well appointed wet room with walk in shower. One small ( 1cm) difference in floor level to access shower area) The main issue we would highlight would be hotel reception accessibility - just to be aware. There is level access from street level, however to reach the reception there are stairs. There is a lift but this lift is VERY narrow. It is adequate and took my husbands wheel chair with me stood behind but the width to access this lift was tight and could be a problem if a wider entrance was needed. Therefore it might be worth checking before booking. The staff were aware of the restriction and were very helpful trying to work with us. We needed to use this lift to access our room. For us it wasn't a problem once aware of it. There is a larger lift from reception that takes you to the toilets , including a large disabled toilet. All very clean, secure and with lovely orange soap! ( smells lovely) The breakfast room can also be accessed from here although we could reach the breakfast room directly from our room via the smaller lift. Breakfast was a lovely calm peaceful ,quiet affair. Continental but a very good selection. Really lovely warm soft boiled eggs, good selection of breads, pastries..possibly the addition of some fresh fruit was the only thing missing, or I may have missed it, apologies if I did. Plenty of choice to set you up for the day though! Plenty of places to eat and drink right outside the hotel. Tourists attractions right on the door step including the Hop on Hop Off stop and canal boat trip and local passenger ferries! The general feel of hotel is peaceful calm. And you get to experience Nynhavn before the day trippers arrive and after they leave, which is a nice bonus. We would absolutely stay here again if visiting and would always recommend . Thank you for a lovely stay. Nothing against this hotel of any importance. To us but a couple of points, maybe but we're not a problem in reality. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been ideal but saying that facilities were easily available in a very nice reception lounge space. There was no problem with taking a drink back to your room. And just to be aware of the lift as mentioned. But absolutely nothing that would stop us revisiting! We woud love to!
