We booked an apartment for only one night, the last night of our holiday and deeply regret we couldn't stay longer! 
After a wild day in Legoland we arrived late at the place. The owner Lars gave us a warm welcome at the fireplace with a nice glass of wine. 
The farm has a beautiful large garden full of opportunities to play for the kids. The apartment was charming, and well equipped, we would have loved to stay longer, and will surely come back for our next visit in Denmark! 
Next time we will definitely go for a horse ride.

Amazing place for a stop over for a few days!

Great big thankyou to the owners of this lovely apartments clean worm and cosy place surrounded by lush greenery i stayed for one nite. I had a problem with my flight home my phone was out of charge the owners were so warm and welcoming in my hour off need helped me with my phone situation offerd me food and drink i will forever be greatfull for their hospitality. I will definitely book to go back in better circumstances thank again lost liverpool lad

Friendly host but somewhat lacksidaisical, tipsy impression. The room was extremely outdated and not very clean. We like the authentic rustic style of staying at a farm but this felt more like a damp 1970s bungalow with cracked tiles and broken toilet seat type of deal. Our bed smelled of the guests that stayed the night before. The beds including linen seemed a few decades old. The temperature in the room gets very high.

Not worth it

Just came back from 5 nights stay. Had booked this place as a base for our family (2 young children) whilst we explored the surrounding attractions (LEGO land, LEGO house, Gifskund zoo and Lalandia). Wish we'd booked a longer stay, so that we could have had more downtime here. Our kids absolutely loved it here. From playing with the wonderfulky friendly resident dog, Billy, to playing around in the play areas or on the trampoline, to feeding and riding the horses.
Lars and Annika are great hosts, and seem to take great pride in making their guests feel welcome. They seem to help all of the other guests gel. There's often a gathering at night around the fire (also bbq/grill), where folk from all over the continent talk and share stories.
The area is completely safe, and kids can be left to their own devices, particularly when tired parents need to catch up on much needed sleep after long days at the theme parks/late nights around the fire.

Perfect base for the region. Wished we'd stayed longer.

We’ve spent five great days at Skandihest with our kids, and we can’t wait to come back.

Skandihest is just a short drive from Legoland and is a little resort onto its own. It is a quiet, lovely spot that offers horseback riding, trampolines, an extensive LEGO collection, the world’s friendliest Golden Retriever and lovely two-Støren apartments with good amenities. 

Since Skandihest is fairly secluded, with little traffic, you can let your kids run around, use the various play areas and explore the forest and the park on their own.

The hosts, Lars and Annika are wonderful. On arrival we were met with a hearty welcome, were given a tour of the place and got to meet the personnel and all the animals. They’re very welcoming and are available when you need them, but the place isn’t hectic at all — it feels like you have it all to yourself.

We look forward to returning to Skandihest again soon!

Perfect for families!

Great relaxing place to stay. You are made to feel welcome relaxed and chilled by the owner Lars and by Billy the fabulous dog.

Spend a few days there, enjoy the gardens and relax. Light a fire in the evening and BBQ away.

A home away from home

The ideal place for children, a beautiful garden full of games, a pond, horses and dogs. A special mention to the owners, courteous and available from the first moment. A few share our apartment, however well equipped and clean.

Ideal for children

Our kids loved this place with a plenty of animals and a very friendly couple. Good rooms and possibility to grill. Horse riding included in the prize! Our children want to return as soon as possible. Recommend!

Great horse mansion cottages for a family!

We stayed at Skandi Hest for 8 nights and may I say we were immediately impressed. The place is just awesome. Something right out of a fairy-tale; greenery surrounded by even more greenery. Lars and Annika are kind and understanding people and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were very good hosts. It was clean and we had everything we needed. They really thought of everything. Even TV and Internet were top notch. We were lucky to be blessed with good weather.

The place was perfect for our 2 kids, who had never seen such an enormous playground. They could run around safely while checking out all the nooks and crannies for themselves. It was a much better choice than a hotel really. Close to all the interesting places in South Jutland, we were never more than a nice drive away from the recommended places. 

This was an incredibly relaxing holiday - for everyone, and we would recommend Skandi Hest without hesitation.

A stay we'll remember for sure.

I stayed on this farmhouse for 5 nights, with my extended family, two couples with 4 children in total. The bathroom was spacious. But for the rest, we occupied the apartment from 8, adapted to our needs. The apartment is essential, without fringes, yet with good comfort, although there is no washing machine and there is only one bathroom. The app.to is its two floors, with the upstairs rooms mansarato but very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. But for the rest, everything is spacious, especially the green surrounding environment, and luxurious with the particular pond and the magnificent garden and the greenhouse. There are also available two indoor spaces available for a picnic, including a nice dining room with wine and wine, and a nice dining room for the lovers of the dog, and the lovely family, so if you want to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area of the zoo, then you can enjoy the beautiful spaciousness of the lovely, beautiful and spacious area of the garden and the beautiful garden.
