This place is odd somehow: It has seen better days, granted. But the room we had was still quite comfortable, especially the bed was a positive surprise. On the other hand there is not much furniture you can really use - and especially power sockets were dearly missed. Water cooker and hair dryer are outside your room for general use. The good flat screen TV is a sharp contrast to the... how to put it?... primitive bathroom and toilet. And beware of the staircase - you'll have to haul your luggage up on your own. On the positive side: the rooms may be unpretentious but at least they are clean. Staff is nice enough, but you have to report your arrival, reception may not always be open for check-in... 

Old but quite comfy

Stayed over at this hotel on my trip back from Norway to NL. Location is okay at 20 minutes drive from Hirtshals in a beach oriented small village with many restaurants and a great (Spar) supermarket. The hotel is in the center of the village and parking is for free and there is space enough. The hotelroom I had was basic and okay for 1 night but the bathroom need an urgent complete upgrade. I was not happy with the standard offered. The perfect breakfast and the service of the lady in the morning compensated my mixed feelings about the bathroom a bit ...... .

It’s a simple guest house centrally located in Lønstrup. Nice Danish/continental breakfast. Large common area on the outside with benches. Not much more to say really. Uncomplicated stay. Effective check-in and out. The interior is perhaps a bit outdated as many of the older guest houses are, but that was expected and I wasn’t bothered by it. 

Simple and central

Happy to find this place after a late ferry crossing. We arrived late but keys and clear instructions were left for us. Good breakfast in a pleasant dining room next morning. Public car park very close to the hotel and various shops and beach within easy distance.

We stayed here one night because this hotel is pretty close to Hirtshals where we were heading to Norway by ferry. We arrived quite late after normal check-in time but we were kindly given instructions how to find our room and the key was on the door.

The hotel has several buildings. Our room was in the red one. The room was small and modest but it served its purpose. We did not expect any luxury from this so we were not disappointed, either. Breakfast was ok.

It was a pity that we did not have more time to see around the village which seemed very nice. Especially Rubjerg Knude lighthouse on the top of dunes nearby would have been worth visiting.

Simple room

The location of this hotel was fantastic, right in the middle of a great little town.  Booking in was easy as they had left the key in the door for us.  However, the room was very basic and there were stray hairs here and there, the TV was 12" and went black after 5 minutes.  Overall cleanliness was good.  The breakfast was great with a big selection of continental items.

Not value for money

Dejligt sted med et rart værtspar og et lækkert morgenmadsarrangement. Værelserne virkede rare, og man sov bestemt godt i sin seng. :) et ophold på hotel Marinella kan klart anbefales herfra.

Lovely place with a nice couple to welcome you and with really nice breakfast in the morning. The rooms are nice, and you definitely had a good night's sleep in your bed! :) I would personally recommend this place for anyone who needs a place to stay in Loenstrup.
