Been coming to the area for several years for a youth football tournament. A few of the other coaches and I come here every year for their amazing Lemon and Poppy Seed cake and coffee.

The amazing fare which they sell is second only to their hospitality with the owner recognising us every year and taking time out to join us for a chatand a coffee!!!

I would urge anyone in the area or travelling past to take time out for a visit for that cake 😍

Train stops directly opposite on the line between Frederikshavn and Hjorring and there are Guest Rooms for a stop over.

We will be back for aslong as we keep going to the tournament.

Best Coffee and Cake around!!!

I stayed two nights at this lovely bed and breakfast.  The bed and breakfast has been renovated into a charming, warm, truly unique place.  The bedrooms are simple and well appointed.  Breakfast was wonderful and I also had a lovely dinner with my host and some other guests.  If you have any interest in ceramics, there couldn't be a better place to stay ever.  Gregory and his wife make incredible work that you'll eat breakfast off.  There is a large working studio, kilns in the hillside, and a small gallery you can purchase fantastic work from.  It felt like I was a welcome guest in an old friend's home.

The inn is only about 30 minutes from Skagen by car, and the surrounding villages are quaint, dotted with danish antique stores and art galleries.  Hiking the sandy cliffs on a windy day was an experience I'll always remember.  The train station is also directly across the street, so if you are traveling by train, you'll be very pleased with that.

If you are considering a stay and are up for a unique inn with very friendly hosts, definitely don't think twice.  Stay!

Perfect Stop To Renew Your Artistic Soul

Such welcoming and enthusiastic hosts - Gregory and Janne run a B&B, cafe, ceramic studio and creative hub within a beautiful old guesthouse. There is a warm family atmosphere with visitors and volunteers from all over the world passing through, you are sure to meet some interesting new people during your visit. The food is outstanding - all made from scratch and served up on beautiful ceramic ware. Make sure to check their facebook page for upcoming events - there are many creative and social projects going on all the time from ceramic workshops to evening talks. 
Tolne station is just steps from the front door with fast train links all over Denmark, during my stay I took some great day trips out to Hirtshals, Lønstrup and Skagen - all well worth a visit. There are also some lovely walks within the stunning Tolne forest and around the local lakes. I'm looking forward to visiting again!

A wonderful place

B&B being renovated in a historical building dating back centuries. Very much a work in progress. We chose the place becuse we had a ferry to catch early in the morning, and it was a reasonable drive from Frederikshavn.

No luxuries here, but the host Gregory makes up for everything with his warm and welcoming personality.

From the moment you walk in the door you feel like part of the family. 
The crackle from the fireplace, the wonderful smells from the kitchen, unique and interesting ceramics and most of all the amazing people at Tolne GGG provides a nice and homely atmosphere you just can't find anywhere else.
Greeted with a warm smile you journey into the wonderful world of Tolne. From here you are free to chose your own adventure, you can go exploring in the gigantic Forrest, chill with the family, other guests or the volunteers over a nice cup of tea or coffee, you can do ceramics or learn how. you can even join Gregory in the kitchen making delicious food from all over the world.
if you are in the northern part of jylland you should stop by and experience this unique place!
