It must be borne in mind that it was (only) a 3-star hotel. For this purpose, the room layout was practical. The room itself, located on the first floor of the middle wing, was practically a gable room, the sloping ceiling of which made entering the bed on the side a bit cumbersome. When booking, ask about the design of the room. In the summer you can enjoy the outdoor management in the inner courtyard of the U-shaped grandly built hotel. The restaurant is impressive for its incomparable location overlooking the 40 m. The remote marina. The bar was rather barren, but of all was offered sufficiently. The breakfast was very good quality. All the beauties of this place, which we should be able to enjoy once again, if we were to go to Bornholm, we would be able to get to Bornholm at any time.

Best location, clean good restaurant

Siemsens Gård is a small hotel in beautiful Bornholm town Svaneke. The open part of the restaurant is overlooking the small harbour where fisher boats used to enter their catch. Now it is mainly tourist sailors. The yard is almost covered in roses in bloom. Very idyllic!
We celebrated a family birthday and had 5 double rooms with very nice breakfast in the restaurant. Service and accomodation are good compared to price- 3 ½ - 4 stars. 
Recommended.

Late summers atmosphere in Nordic surroundings

We booked this hotel and it was an excellent decision!! Although it is a three-star hotel it has everything you need to spend a few beautiful days!! The rooms are very bright and clean, with a modern bathroom without bathtub. Incredible its restaurant with the best views of the harbor and its staff very attentive!!

 Location inmejorable!!!!!!

There were a good number of us who stayed here for a large destination wedding on Bornholm. Our room was on the ground floor, rear, with a lovely garden and private terrace. We were concerned that we would be hot and thought the upper, front rooms would be cooled by the ocean. Not so! Our room was pleasantly cool. (BTW-there are no fans) We never felt uncomfortable with leaving our window and patio door open. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and more pillows were available should we want them. The bathroom was well appointed and the water pressure in the shower was great! Our room had a small kitchenette that contained everything we required. The restaurant in the hotel had very good food and the bar/restaurant staff were fantastic! The were ALL lovely and helpful and had no problem with our jovial, partying wedding group. I should also note that this hotel is well located and does have ample free parking! They were also very kind and sweet to our little Scottish Fold cat that travels with us. He gives the hotel a 4 out of 5 paws. Very pleased with this hotel.

Nothing fancy, but very clean and friendly service. Good bar service!

This hotel has an excellent position in the small harbour but also has a very nice rose garden, a terrace with roof and a sea view plus free parking. The restaurant serves good but rather expensive food. The breakfast is good but not lavish. 
The rooms are standard, quiet but not very big. The TV was too far away to see clearly from the bed (if you want to read the text etc). The bathroom had a very efficient shower that you could close very effectively.

Lovely location

If you stay at this hotel for a while you will appreciate the service and the charm and simplicity of the place... The food is fantastic, especially the fish of the day with the local beer produced in Svaneke.

Nice hotel in a genuine atmosphere...

You are definitely paying for the great location.  Siemsens Gaard hotel is an adequate hotel in a beautiful island but the experience could have been so much better if the hotel was a notch better. The room was poorly furnished and the breakfast could easily be much better.  And when you have a check out time at 10 am please make sure that you inform the guests at check in.  Check out at 10 am isn't very common for a hotel and it is very unpleasant to have someone knocking at your door at 10:01 am to let you know that you have to vacate the room. On the plus side the beautiful garden and the modern bathroom.

It could have been so much better.

Rooms are clean but basic and small.  Pillows could do with being of better quality. Breakfast was good, taken on a terrace overlooking the small harbour. Gardens are very well maintained and fragrant. It was perfect for an overnight stay on a cycling holiday. 

Pleasant

The hotel is not only impressive for its location, but also for its nice rooms with modern bathrooms. Very attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful terrace overlooking the harbour. A decent breakfast. Also sauna, fitness room and playroom.

Standing right at the harbor!

To put it in advance, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the port of Svaneke is worth staying at the hotel. The room itself is very spartan for the high prices demanded. Unlike many Scandinavian hotels, although there is a large enough closet and sleeping comfort, but the very small bathroom with sanitary materials and a shower curtain from the 1980s is in need of habit. Unfortunately, even the night's sleep was interrupted by a wedding party at the hotel until three o'clock in the morning. Since the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, we still felt quite comfortable.
