Old "Kongelig Priviligeret Kro" - the motel part, however, is located behind the old main building, where the reception, bar and restaurant are. Fairly comfortable and clean room / bathroom. I stayed there 3 nights. Breakfast was included in the room price, okay. Friendly staff. 

Nice "kro" and motel. 

The rooms are a bit old, but the service and the food in the restaurant is excellent. The location is about 10 - 15 minutes by car to the center of Aalborg. The area around is quiet and out in the country side. The staff is very helpfull.

Excellent food

A classic Danish interior and decoration at the main building. The room is fine. Good Danish food at the restaurant. A bit high in price but also very big in portion. Staffs are friendly and helpful..

Cozy hotel and nice traditional restaurant 

I had dinner at Tylstrup Kro on the 30 th of september, the dinner was amazing and very tastefull, the place is deffenetly worth a visit.
I is located close to the highway, with easy acces to Nice and clean Rooms, you Will realy feel very welcome at this place.

Great dinner

Be aware, absolutely NO restaurants within 15km of this motel. But very clean and quiet (we might have been the only guests those days). Fine breakfast, fresh eggs and lots of good bread.
Fine location to go from Aarhus to Skagen (we were in the car), but seriously, be aware to eat beforehand since the hotel restaurant also closes early.

Perfect location for going to Skagen

Simple, somewhat tired rooms with very little soundproofing. Comfortable beds - overall what one can expect at this price. Very good food, impressively varied dinner menu, and a perfectly passable breakfast, and very pleasant and helpful staff. An OK place to spend the night.

Simple inn with good food and friendly staff

This KRO (roadside guesthouse or motel) is located in a tiny village and here is really not much to see or do. But there are always short distances in Denmark, so not to worry! The pub is very cosy and authentic, we did not have dinner here so I can't rate that one. Breakfast was ordinary continental - boiled eggs, coldcuts, cheese and marmelade. Fresh rolls and cereals. 
Room as expected, slighly damp and with a musty smell, just like many British B&Bs and guesthouses I've been to during the past years. The bed was comfy, the TV worked well, and the bathroom (Oh dear, this was a genuine retro piece of the 70ties) had really all you need for a short stay. 
All in all, a good place for a short stay, reasonably priced too.
