I'm really glad I found Casa Blanca Hotel.  Its in the perfect location, right beside the main grocery store, as well as at the beginning/(or end) of the beach bar/restuarant strip.  The hotel is budget style so don't expect luxury, however for the travellers that are ok with budget, its great.  I stayed for 1 month, and will return again.  
The staff (Justin ) is very helpful and quick to response to any inquiries you may have.

Great Location for Budget Hotel

First let me say, I completely adore Cabarete and highly recommend that travelers visit. This was my fourth visit to the town and certainly won't be my last! This review is absolutely no reflection on the Cabarete community. 

I noticed Casa Blanca by chance the last time I was here and thought I'd give it a try, attracted to its quiet location and low price. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed by my experience, especially compared to other reasonably priced places in the area that I find far more comfortable. It was the end of the tourist season, so it's possible the staff was just tired at that point. Regardless, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not return. 

When I first arrived, I noticed a little trash and cooking tools on the ground and stair in the courtyard that I moved myself for safety. I asked for a room with a balcony but noticed that the plumbing was totally shot in that room (spitting sink, malfunctioning toilet, and leaky shower). The kind and accommodating manager, Justin, moved me to a ground level room that had significant electrical problems and inconsistent WiFi signal. I was happy that the hot water worked well, but the cold water faucet did not, nor did the lockbox safe. The ceiling fan did not work, so I had to use two floor fans, one of which was wildly loud and disturbed my sleep. For privacy on the ground level, I had to keep all the windows covered all the time, which felt depressing and claustrophic. I also found a little cucaracha friend one night. 

Overall, the property is just rundown and in need of updating. The location is great, so maybe the owner will make improvements in the future.

Disappointment

Spend 5 Weeks @ Casa Blanca, cabarete for surfing and the dominican lifestyle. Beautiful place at 10 mins from encuentro beach by the famous GuaGua (25pesos/ride). This hôtel welcomes longterm guests, so there's a respect between guests like you're at home with your neighbours. Peaceful, quiet and lots of fun. Justin and William are always There to check-up on you to make sure you have all you need and that you know your way around the Little tricks of the Trade around town.

I'll be back for an other surfing and resting vacation.

Realy nice hotel.The manager (Justin)  was so cool and the cleaning lady Rita.
I had a singel room and it was perfect for me.. cloose to the beach and to the supermarket. If you want a sheap hotel and Nice this is it....

Freindly and carm

This was my second time in Cabarete but my first time at Casa Blanca.  My room was only $30 a night which is a great bargain for a place with a pool that close to the beach and center of town.  The staff was really friendly and helpful, the manager even  took time to help me locate a few places that interested me, and the cleaning lady was so sweet as well.  The pool lounge area is really nice, water was hot, the room wasnt anything fancy but was clean and well-maintained, about what i expect for $30 a night.

Good Bargain, great location

There was no water most of the time, the hotel is dirty, garbage were left in the middle of the place for two weeks. biggest rat I have ever seen. Wifi doesn’t work. The apartment smelled like cigarettes. The owner don’t care about his client. I paid for a month but only stayed 5 nights.. they didn’t even refund me.

Horrible experience

Excellent place, JUSTIN is a great guy and we treat him super well, a cool place to have a good time, quiet and has a cozy recreation area with swimming pool, thank you for providing us with a good service justin, I recommend you to make the reservation with him.

Amazon is a great place to visit.

Casa Blanca Hotel is very well located in Cabarete, close to the beach, supermarket, bus stop, etc. It has rooms and studios with basically equipped kitchen. It just needs a little maintenance and the wifi has more power.

The right hotel

I went down in January to Casablanca de Cabarete... a small, affordable, clean hotel, with very accommodating properties. I stayed there for two weeks.. and although there were children, the place is quiet and quiet. If you like the well-kept secrets.. also, at the rdc, a wonderful restaurant for lunch and dinner, probably the best value for money in Cabarate.. thanks again to William and his wife, Michel
