Resort Grand Bavaro Princess - All Inclusive 

This is more of a 4.5 out of 5. This was our third trip and while it was wonderful, there were a couple of very minor hiccups. All in all it was outstanding. Platinum is definitely worth it. The food was great, we ate at PBG most days for lunch and ala cartes and Chopin for most dinners. The service was absolutely wonderful. Silviero and Robert at PBG were great and Ingrit at Chopin were beyond fabulous. Going for a walk for ice cream almost evenings was a nice treat and the people working there (I didn’t catch their names) were so nice and friendly. The platinum night on the beach was great. It rained a little but it did not dampen the enthusiasm and effort that was put into that night. It was wonderful. The beach is phenomenal and the Platinum Pool is great. I wish the platinum pool was a little bigger and adults only but honestly that wasn’t a big deal. There were a couple of days our fridge was not stocked. I called on two different occasions. They did come when called which was great but having to do it two days was a pain. Also, when we checked out I. The morning the bellman did not come to assist us with our bags (we made arrangements the day before). Again we walked up ourselves but a lot of people might not be physically able to do that and we built extra time into our departure for glitches. Last time the service was just a bit better for those types of things. We were repeat customers which last time seems to mean something with a few little extras but this time did not seem to matter. The grounds are beautiful. Housekeeping did a great job. We love the resort and will be back. Again, our issues were pretty minor and the important things were all out of this world.
