I know this hotel for years,unfortunely lost his owner Mario Torroni ,and his spirit,poor breakfast,restaurant closed  evening, I spent 2 nights 18th and 19th december , kind staff in the reception,new paints on the walls,

My bed cover was worn out, and the place is outdated. They use regular keys for the rooms and the windows are dirty. Telephones dont work there is no information in the rooms. The only plus is that it is in walking distance to Zona colonial and many restuarants. 

Cannot complain for the price.

Room was very small. Shower had a half door that leaked into bathroom. No bath mat provided. Front staff was not friendly. Every site, including their own website says free breakfast. Breakfast was served in attached restaurant. Choices were minimal. Toast with an egg, egg with one slice of bacon, etc. We were not offered juice although others had it. I ordered tea and was brought coffee. No offers of coffee refill. When we were finished, we were told our reservation was for room only, no breakfast. The bill was $14 for a tiny breakfast. We could have had a feast anywhere else for that. I showed the front desk the website that said free breakfast, and the girl just shrugged. Area felt a bit unsafe, but location was close to Malecon for a beautiful walk. Hotel was clean, but I would not recommend. There are far better choices.

Would not recommend 

It started with the pickup from the airport. On the site it offered airport pickup, so we requested same. On arrival there was some communication issues and it took an hour plus for us to be picked up. We thought this service was covered in our price during booking as part of hotel service. We were wrong we were charged $39.00 by the driver for the service once we arrived at the hotel. The beds were not comfortable the first room the bed was so hard it gave my sister a back ache. We subsequently changed rooms and the beds were only slightly better than the first. The hotel had a no noise past 10pm policy that was not observe in any form. Other guests were allowed to make noise straight through the night. Non-stop. The Breakfast was not pleasant. We were not given the option to select what we wanted for breakfast. We had to eat what was given every morning which was the same thing every morning and not tasty. The crux of the stay was being charged 1500pesos roughly $27 for a towel that had makeup wiped on it. We were told that it was not possible for them to clean the towel and therefore it had to be replaced. We were told that we had to pay the stated cost and we can keep the towel.

Very Unpleasant Experience

This hotel is well situated one minute from the sea boulevard, next to the colonial area, may be 7 minutes from the cathedral or the first street of the New World, and next to any good touristic or party spot. So for the price, you better forget that the rooms are not so new, the parking view or some noise. This is definitely not a four star hotel, it would be barely two anywhere else in the civilised world but people are very nice, helpful, breakfast is good, food is very correct, the boss seems to import cheese from Europe so the fondue is good, the fish is fresh and you will spend a good time sharing there. Once again, if you cannot afford something pricey, just go there and enjoy!
