It's a very cozy place, the people who attend to you are very helpful and supportive, they helped us with a pickup truck to the waterfall and were attentive to any request. The food is very rich especially the menu of the day. The rooms are simple but have what is needed, such as suggestions to fix the doors to enter the shower and the floor mats in the beds to change or remove them... The rooms have clean sheets and pillows. The swimming pool infrastructure is perfect to go with children, I like it more than anything that requires you to use a bathrobe, that helps make it impeccable.

La Casta is a lovely place, sort of a hidden treasure.After getting to know something about Baños, we needed a place to rest and relax as the next day we were leaving for Guayaquil back; so we found La Casta on the Internet, contacted me on the cell phone number they indicated, and I was ready for my accommodation.On arriving in Potato you are amazed, it is a lovely, simple canton, with friendly people, rich in ice cream, a few minutes from the central park is La Casta, it has a restaurant with delicious dishes and desserts, its own areas for you to enjoy a moment of relaxation, delicious breakfast with humid foods.If you are near Ambato, Pelileo o Baños, you should go through La Casta. Repeto: a hidden treasure.

Excellent food, excellent attention, a cozy, clean and relaxing place, 100% recommended, next time we will try the new pool and sauna services that we could not do due to lack of time.

It's perfect!!

We have been visiting as a family and the place is very welcoming, good care and kindness. The facilities of the pool are very well cared for and clean. The view and family atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax from the stress of the city. They have a very varied menu and for all tastes. As a suggestion, we need to put some information from the Central Park of Potatoes in order to get there without any problem (was helped but not so much) and the improvement point in the dining room the plastic chairs.

The place is very nice, the comfortable rooms, the services it offers such as food and swimming pools are ideal for taking a break and taking a day off and relaxing with exceptional care! totally recommended!

A very nice new place, small and cozy, I hope to be able to return, familiar, spectacular, restaurant, good food, at a comfortable price, clean facilities, personalized attention from its owner, a very friendly and friendly young entrepreneur, a family with children, or a swimming pool suitable for it.

An excellent location.

My husband and I stayed at La Casta, which is about 500m out of town ($1.25 by taxi from bus terminal or $1 from the centre of Patate) for three nights in an upstairs room with nice views of the fields up the mountain. The family looked after us superbly. The breakfasts were lavish, and we particularly liked the different piece of cake every morning, which was packed up for us to take along because we just couldn't fit it in. The dining room opens to an englassed breakfast room on one side, from which we could watch the farmers work and their children play. The dinners we had in the onsite restaurant were excellent and competitively priced, as was the laundry service. The wifi worked well, and there is a sizable heated swimming pool complex on the property, which guests staying over night can use for free. When we needed transport to the Cascada de Mundug, the son was asked to drive us up. We enjoyed our stay at La Casta thoroughly and recommend it wholeheartedly.

This family hosteria is very well run.
Very good restaurant. Dishes are elaborated with their garden self-production.
In bonus, the owner of place speak french fluent !
Finally this hosteria is located in a sublime valley which is worth a detour.
I'm totally conquered by this place.
