Very friendly, welcoming and clean rooms. Owner was very helpful in accommodating last minute tours. Decent breakfast included with the price. One possible improvement is to hand out front door key so you don’t have to wake anyone up by ringing the doorbell

Great and affordable stay

For people who travel to Cuenca for work or for a walk, I highly recommend the Macondo B&B. Comply with the three Bs (Bueno, Bonito and Barato).It is also located in the center, which makes it easy to get out to various tourist and leisure attractions.They include a breakfast that is a good base for starting the day.In addition, the kitchen is allowed from 2pm to 9pm.

A good option for accommodation.

Woke up with the birds music very relax after 3 flying days was perfect.
Breakfast lovely juices and perfect local coffe great strong and at 6 am. Go relax any time in this magic secret garden at this, colonial heritage building. With from my knowledge is hard and expensive.

The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the garden courtyard was a peaceful and quiet retreat. A friendly staff helped me enjoy my stay in Cuenca. They were knowledgable about the area and happy to assist with suggestions and directions.

Friendly, safe, and so beautiful!

Excellent quality/price ratio. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has rooms facing an inner courtyard and therefore silent sound. This courtyard includes very nice little gardens. Obviously, it's not the big luxury, but there is hot water (we have to wait a bit) and for this price it's more than right.
