A decent place to spend one or two nights. A bit rundown, you tend to get what you pay for. Lots of hot water and the wifi was strong in the room. The staff were welcoming and friendly, letting me into the room in the early hours after an all night bus from Peru, and not charging me extra.  The room was a bit dark but it was quiet. The restaurant on the roof provides a good breakfast  and a decent view over the town to the surrounding hills.

This hotel is located in front of the market and is very crowded and crowded.The parking is limited to 3 cars and as you enter and exit, when you light the cars you smell the smog in all the rooms because the top ventilation is not good.The only good thing is the view from the breakfast area, but otherwise I do not recommend this hotel.

Pretty soleless hotel and bedroom; felt quite dingy.
Asked and was confirmed a wake up call but this didn't happen.

I am staying here now, after traveling 30 hours from the United States. Everyone is friendly, but make sure you speak Spanish! Hot water in the shower is slow in coming up to the 3rd Floor, but nice if you let it run. No hot water in the sink, EVER. Cable TV with 2 channels, Good WiFi in the room. GREAT double bed for sleeping! (The Best part of the room!) Feels like the place needs a good scrubbing (My US standards...? :)
Breakfast was included on first day. Papaya Juice, Instant Coffee, scrambled eggs, and a roll. All in a rooftop dining room, with a nice view of the city!
Overall, pretty quite as I am in the back of the building. Which is amazing considering how noisy it is on the bustling street. You are in the Center of town, near the Mercado and close to everything.

Good for the price.

Cash only payment before you take the small, bare room.  Staff was friendly & helpful.  Walls paper thin & sounds echo throughout. Only one 110volt outlet.  Bed was a double not a queen. Water warm after running for quite awhile never got hot.  WiFi was ok.

You get what you pay for at best

Standard 2 star hotel on bustling street. Warm welcome, request for a higher floor (I always do) was sorted immediately, elevator.
Room functional and clean, private bathroom.
Close enough to a main plaza (3 blocks away) to give access to cafe, restaurant etc.
Quiet night in comfortable bed. Dozed off watching TV !!!
Very goog value for a single night, ideal for a break in travelling south from Quito by bus to the border with Peru via Zumba and then La Balsa.
Recommended hotel.

A hotel with a very good infrastructure, with all the basic services and even elevators, ideal customer service, very clean rooms.

Excellent hotel in Loja

Few hotels in the country have the service of instructing the passenger of the places to visit, rob me of the lottery, one of the guys who attends me at the reception until the kindness of looking for me a map and pointing me out the most picturesque places in and around the city (Vilcabamba y Zamora Chinchipe) Many rooms have a hotel, impeccable cleanliness, its habitat as well as the bathroom, good hot water for the bathroom, including a daily water bottle, daily drinking in the bar, changing towels and room arrangement, knowledge adsoluto for sleeping, well located the Hotel, painted and decorated.

The Magnifico Hotel in Loja.

This hotel, located in the heart of the city and three blocks from the main park, has good services but is excellent and even very good price including breakfast and wifi, as well as an elevator and hot water.
