i arrive very late around 23h and have to leave at 4am for a climb , i didnt have a reservation, but this was not a problem they charge me the same price, i got a quiet room, with all you need to pass by in Otavalo Ecuador, for a cheap price, the only wrong was that wifi didnt work in my room.

fast stay, zero problems

While a little more expensive then other surrounding options, I moved to this hotel because it was one of the few that accepted credit card. Despite being on the outskirts of the city, it is conveniently located right across the street from the bus stop. I thought the room was clean and comfortable during my 4 night stay. My room also had a nice view of the hills overlooking Otavalo.

Comfortable Hotel Across the Street from Bus Terminal

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, my mattress is a little tired...it's very clean, on request we can make the room for you. It's a shame there are no proper restaurants nearby. The rooms overlooking the road are noisy in the early morning and it can smell the exhaust gases at a time.

It's a good address after all.

Full disclosure: I was concerned about noise and safety when I booked so close to the bus station. I was really pleasantly surprised when we stayed on Thursday and Friday nights (the night before the Saturday market!) to find that noise was not a problem at all; we were located on the second floor (maybe room 2-13?), a very large suite with three beds and big windows facing the street (perpendicular to the bus station). The rooms had a lot of unexpected details like thoughtful artwork and painted trim on the ceilings - even in the bathroom! It was simple, clean, and the management was so friendly that when we went to fetch something from our car in their secure parking (onsite at their home nearby) they invited my six-year old in to chat - and he stayed to help shuck corn, one of his favorite memories of the trip so far.

Quiet, friendly, large rooms, immaculate hotel

Like reviews before me have mentioned, this is not a Hostel, but a Hotel. The rooms are great with clean private bathrooms. The roof chill out area is really great with some nice views over Otavalo. The kitchen is relatively well equiped, it could do with a Kettle & Toaster and maybe a few more pots/pans. Its nicely located near the bus station which made it a perfect spot to arrive, dump your stuff and head out to explore the town.

Great Hotel

More like a basic hotel than a hostel.. no atmosphere at all. We only stayed for one night but never came across another guest! Booked on arrival for $23 pp so a bit pricy for Ecuador..got a double room which was spacious and clean. 5 minutes into town, across the road from the bus terminal. 

Clean and quiet 

Located in the centre of Otavalo near the bus terminal. Noisy area for all-hour traffic. You can reach the market on Saturday in 5 minutes. Large well-furnished room, comfortable bed. Bathroom with shower. Friendly staff, wifi ok, no breakfast but nearby there are several great bakeries.

Noisy

Good price and a very nice room but across the street fom the bus station and around the corner from a store selling sound systems.  Plus they were demolishing the building across the street and the heavy equipment worked far into the night.  Plus next door they were banging and drilling on the wall.
  Bring the ear plugs.

Noisy and I Mean NOISY!

We stayed for a couple of nights in a very spacious double (room # 102), it felt more like a hotel than a hostel: the room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi worked well. Cost $24 per night directly through hostel, $27 through booking.com. If you are looking to meet people this is not the place for you. The common room was empty both days we were there, and we didn't see a single other person! The restaurant adjoined to the hostel serves a good menu del dia for $2.50.

Comfortable, clean, but not good for meeting people

Great staff because the top-ranking suite is a re-safe concern, they're good advice and there's laundry service at $1.5/kg.
