I booked another place to stay and left in the middle of the night. There were cockroaches running out of my bathroom and there were masses that looked like mold in my room. The floor was severely warped from water damage. The bathroom was a health hazard, and I say this as someone who works in places where pit latrines are common. I booked on another site and I don't think the photos were of the room I was staying in. One of the people working there killed a few cockroaches for me, and then she left me roach spray. In the two minutes between when she left and when I decided to leave, five cockroaches came out of the bathroom. I was an unsafe place to stay.

The people that worked there were nice, and I feel bad that there will be people who think that this review is because of them.

I left this place in the middle of the night

this emblematic hostel in the history of tourism of the Galapagos Islands, this small hostel has a privileged central location to move everywhere, its prices are very comfortable for its travelers, the service is very cordial and friendly, its facilities are in good condition, highly recommended!

Emblematic hostel in the history of the Galapagos Islands

I was lucky to spend a month in this fantastic hostel. Priscila, Jorge, Fabian sand Julie were all so kind and welcoming as well as provided information of everything about the Galapagos. The location could not have been better and the hostel itself was very comfortable. I am looking forward to visiting again in the future

Fantastic Service

I've been staying here for a total of four nights. The hostel is great. You're only a few meters from the port. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Super central

Excellent attention from Mrs. Magdalena. It made me feel at home with her kindness and sweetness; the best experience in the Galapagos; the extremely hygienic rooms, very white sheets and towels, and the best, an exquisite, healthy and personalized breakfast.

Excellent price/quality. Comfort and super well located. Good service and information about things to do on the island. The room was clean and well maintained. Definitely to return.

We arrived Without reservation and it was not a problem. We had two nice room with hot water and air con. The price was good for the quality of the rooms. Note that the rooms at the front are better than in the back...

Well, it's a relatively good price, but the rooms are cleaner than others, and better decorated.

The staff is really friendly and ready to help the guests. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is also an outside commom area with hammocks, which is quite nice.  The location is very good, almost on the corner with Charles Darwin Avenue, where all the souvenirs stores and good restaurantes are located. Just two blocks from the hostal, there is also a good street to eat "meriendas" for 5USD at lunch and a variety of seafood (specially fresh lobsters) at dinner in some tables in the middle of the street. Really nice.

Good private rooms

It is a quiet and very simple accommodation.It is very close to the harbour and the kiosks.The attention and willingness is excellent, full of kindness and a desire to help improve the experience of anyone who goes to make a consultation.They have a travel agency that helps to provide information about tours and manage reservations.
