This is a beautiful place - super clean.  Staff was very accommodating and helpful.  English speaking front desk staff and kitchen host/hostess.  Breakfast was really good - fresh cooked eggs to order, fresh juices and many other items - very efficient service.  In the lobby there is cold water available to fill water bottles, and a small refrigerator to purchase bottled water/beer.    Great location - walking distance to everything.  Very quiet location but can walk a short distance to reach bars/restaurants on the beach.  Great bird watching from our deck, and a friendly iguana visited us every night.  Can't imagine a better place to stay on Isabela.

Beautiful location, super clean

This is a lovely boutique family owned hotel. We had a downstairs beachfront room which was nicely furnished, not large but perfectly big enough. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast on rooftop restaurant. Sun loungers, beach towels provided snd every tour can be arranged at reception. Highly recommended would like to have stayed longer than just 3 nights

Just a lovely boutique hotel on a beautiful beach!

The most beautiful B&B in the most beautiful location. The room was kept thoroughly clean every day and the decor was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was the best we’d had in a couple of weeks of traveling! 

The view speaks for itself… waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean is like nothing I’ve experienced before. Watching the pelicans, blue footed boobies, frigates and marine iguanas from the balcony was just epic. 

Nathaly was a gracious host. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Every other member of the team that worked there was exactly the same. Always smiling! 

Breakfast was good too. It’s on the rooftop looking over the beach. It isn’t big, but plenty to fill up on and always very tasty. 

The location was right on the main road with plenty of bars and restaurants including Pink Iguana Bar just two along.

We were so sad to leave! Highly recommend this place to anyone.

One of the best stays we’ve experienced

This hotel is a hidden gem. It’s set back from the main road but is located directly on the beach. This is a relaxing environment where you are able to sleep to the sounds of the sea. 

It is not very spacious but offers amazing views and overall is comfortable. 

Staff were very helpful and will assist to help with transport off the island. 

Overall would 100% recommend this hotel for your stay on Isabella.

Hidden gem

We reserved the suite on the 2nd floor (king bed Room 10, I think) with the double-sized deck and gigantic bathroom. Do not hesitate to spend a little more on this absolutely exquisite experience. The location and experience of that balcony put this hotel on my top 3 hotels in the WORLD (so far). We used that balcony every day, every night. The lobby has waves lapping up right to the door in high tide, and just one floor up, we left our sliding door open a crack and listened to the loud waves coming up right to the hotel. I've never stayed in a hotel that was ON the ocean. The cover photo for the hotel -- that's really what it was like, at low tide. Stunning.

The bed was very comfortable and we slept like rocks. Wake up and look over your feet, and all you see is aquamarine ocean. Since it was a full moon when we were there, the ocean was extremely high and one night we set an alarm for 4am for high tide and just sat on the balcony watching it. It's hard to explain in writing the visuals and experience. 

During the day, an hour-long beach walk in low tide will not even get you to the end... I'm not sure it does end. The beach is pristine and you'll see so many iguanas... we loved them. 

Now, the service. Also extraordinary. They were gracious, helpful, and just wonderful. On my birthday while we were out for the day, they brought in balloons and a chocolate cake that would rival the best French bakery, yet really unusual. I loved it! It was just such a thoughtful and extraordinary surprise. 

Then there's breakfast. On the 3rd floor, with an open-air view of the waves crashing right below, resides the best scrambled-egg-chef I've ever met. I hate eggs. I ate them every day, happily. Fresh made juice, coffee, and if you are there on a lucky day, the banana pancakes.

Isabela was our favorite island, and this hotel made the whole trip that much more special. I miss it!!

Extraordinary experience, in my top 3 hotels of the world

Best hotel on Isabella island! The place is directly on the beach (very few hotels are this close). The place was comfortable and clean and service was wonderful. Estalin at the front desk helped us order taxis, book tours and gave us great tips across the island

Best hotel on Isabella Island

The stay at the Cormorant Beach House was an unexpected delight.  Our tour group was not supposed to stay here, but due to last minute issues they accommodated our group!  The minute we stepped into the lobby we were overwhelmed with the ocean view from the lobby.  The staff was friendly and attentive.  Beverages were available in the lobby and easily charged to the room.  Laundry service was efficient.  Rooms were clean and comfortable.  A delicious breakfast buffet on the top floor provided a scenic start to each day.    We stayed here three nights and the sleep was sound, the location quiet.  A lovely beach walk allowed you to explore crabs in the tide pools as well as quick swim in the ocean.   Easy walk to a nature preserve and turtle breeding center.  When you think of paradise...think of this place! 

Scenic ocean paradise!

Cormorant Beach House is the best choice for value and luxury on the beach! The hotel is super clean and the ocean view rooms are to die for. We really enjoyed our time as this hotel is located in our opinion on the best part of the beach. It is walking distance to beach bars and restaurants. The breakfast they served was really good and you eat it on the rooftop with amazing views of the beach. Estalin and the other workers were so helpful and went out of their way to help us.

Highlight of our trip!

Our stay at the cormorant beach house has been fantastic!  When you walk out the front door, you step right onto the beach. Our rooms were incredibly clean and the staff was willing and eager to help us arrange tours and or give us information on activities, dining, etc. when we return to Isla Isabella, we will definitely stay at the Cormorant Beach House!

Clean Convenient Excellent

Staff was very kind and helpful. 
Right on a beautiful beach which can be accessed from the lobby. Beach towels are supplied and a hose to wash your feet is conveniently provided at the entrance to the lobby.
Breakfast was served on the roof top with breathtaking views. It was freshly cooked and quantities were plenty.
