I came to Isabella with a group of my college classmates and had nothing planned. Flavio, who manages the hotel, did so much for us! He was wonderful, helping us to rent bikes, get into tours last minute, and booked our ferry off of the island. The water in the shower was wonderfully hot and the rooms clean. My only complaint is that the fridge did not seem to stay cold enough. I was very happy with my stay!

Amazing and helpful

Clean and confortable room , best water pressure I had in the shower in the galapagos !! Fully equipped kitchen , good wifi and the owner of the establishment is very kind and always there to help !! I had a great stay , I highly recommend 

Great place to stay on Isabella 

I stayed here for two nights during my recent trip to the Galapagos. My room was spartan but clean and comfortable. The mattresses were perfectly fine, certainly not too hard to the  point where I felt uncomfortable and unable to sleep. The shower provided strong hot water with good pressure. Though I did not sign up with them for day trips, the prices that were offered were very competitive. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal and even less to the main drag with restaurants. I would definitely stay here again for the affordable prices and clean lodgings. WiFi wasn’t ideal but better than other places I’ve stayed at in the Galápagos.

Fine Stay on Isabel

Really nice and helpful staff. Big kitchen and eating area.

Very clean rooms and beds and towels are changed every day (albeit sometimes unnecessary).

Great location and has a big super market underneath.

Fast and cheap laundry service too.



Great location 

Cheap backpackers accommodation with corresponding quality. Reception works unpredictably, from time to time the desk is occupied. Our room was very small with almost no place to put our backpacks, wifi connection was okay.

Average accomodation

This is conveniently located and the tienda next door is awesome. The kitchen on the third floor leaves a fair amount to be desired but it works. The bathroom in our private room was okay. It had hot water, they provided towels and soap. 

The negatives:
1. Beds are concrete. We thought we had slept on hard beds before but holy cow these were hard!!! After 2 nights both of us were popping ibuprofen like candy because our hips were hurting so bad.

2. NOISE!!!! There is another hostel attached to this one, restaurants and houses across the street, and FSM help us all, a karaoke bar next door. A really loud karaoke bar that only had one song that they repeated over and over for hours, with some of the worst singing I've ever heard.

Convenient location but beds are concrete

Early check in and early check out (9:00 am). 
Friendly lady at the reception (not speaking English). We had a private double room on the second floor, front side. The room had a big double bed and was big enough the leave our  backpacks. Nice bathroom with good shower. 
There’s a mini market on the ground floor of the hotel and restaurants are nearby. 
A negative thing about this hotel is the street noise. People on this island have a bad habit to keep the motor of their car running when they are doing groceries and as they get up early your here this noise from about 6:30-7:00 until late. 

Good location

The hostel itself is quite well equiped and there is hot water in the shower. But the service and the workers personal attention are very bad. For example most of the time there is no one in the reception and when you try to reach them on the phone they aren't available.
It is also not recommended to buy tour from this hostel because they don't give you the same as what you pay for ( we asked for a long wetsuit and paid for it and eventually we got only short after arguing and also snorkeled without fins).
So in general this place might be cheap and comfortable but don't expect nothing from the workers and tour agency they run there.

Fine place bad service

This is the worst place I ever stayed at. Small room and very noisy airco. The shower only had very hot water, no cold water came out of the cold water tab. But the worst was the breakfast. Our whole group had the impression we were put on a diet. Portions were very rationed. Only one breakfast roll per person and some fruit. The first morning we additionally had one egg each and the second day one small bowl of cereal with one small jar with a very sweet fruit yoghurt to be shared amongst 13 people. When we asked for more it was given very reluctantly. The reception is seldom manned. It took a while to find the bell to ring and for someone to come to reception.
