Would recommend this place. Clean. Bright rooms. Fairly new. TV didn't work too good.
Centrally located. Store downstairs. Helpful staff, Good price. Restaurants and attractions nearby. Good breakfast on the roof.

Nice, clean, convenient, quiet, family run good price

This is a small no frills hotel. It was clean. Breakfast included, which consisted of toast, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee. Basically a continental but it was served on the rooftop restaurant. The restaurant was only open to serve our breakfasts, as there were very few people staying in the hotel. Amenities are few but there is a good store on sight, as well as good internet. It is a very short walk to the beach and all the restaurants and shops on the main street. A very economical and comfortable place to stay. Perfect for an eco-trip where all you need is a bed for the night.

Does the trick!

We stayed here five nights and although the hotel was basic, it was spotless and the owner was very helpful.  Each day they gave fresh towels and there was unlimited hot water and AC.  The breakfast was off site at the Restaurant Shawarma which had a very, ample good breakfast.  
The internet was spotty all over Isabela, so although it was intermittent, I think it was not the fault of the hotel.  They were also helpful with making plans for various trips.  It is a few blocks off the beach but close to walk everywhere with some good restaurants nearby

Clean, Comfortable Hotel

Stayed here one night while on a HS school group tour.   Our room was large with 2 double beds, refrigerator and a standalone closet and shelf unit.  Bathroom also a good size with a large stall shower.  Unfortunately, there was a huge downpour that lasted for a while afternoon and when we returned to the hotel the 2 rooms across the hallway were having flooding issues on their floor and a small amount into the hallway.  Luckily, no suitcases on floor and our room was not affected.  

Adequate accommodations on Isabela Island

My room during a two-night stay was comfortably situated on the back (west side) of the hotel.  Within the casual pace of Isabela one is not likely to mind the easy, 10-minute (or less) walk to the beachfront.  Wifi (if needed) would be best either at the front desk (ground floor) or breakfast area (top floor).

I was GRANDPAcking through the Galapagos and caught the public ferry to Isla Isabela. I booked my hotel only hours before my arrival.
I booked a Double Room at the El Paraiso de Isabela for 4 nights at $21.20 / night including Breakfast. This was nearly half the price that it was being listed for elsewhere (obviously an error on Expedia’s part).
I arrived at the hotel soon after 5pm. They knew nothing about my booking. I wasn’t surprised. With Expedia, you pay up-front on your Credit Card. I showed them the Confirmed Booking and the fact that I had already paid. After 15 minutes of trying to find my reservation (and calling Expedia without success), they just honoured the booking and took me to my room.
The room was simple but adequate. It came with a small fridge but the only thing that worked was the internal light.
The ensuite was also adequate.
And, it came with a decent hot water shower.
The room came with aircon (a silent heatpump – that worked). 
It came with in-room Wifi (that was so slow it was unusable most of the time – this seems to be a common theme throughout the Galapagos Islands). 
It also came with Cable TV (said Expedia) … I went down to Reception to get the remote. No TV he said … they have no signal. More to the truth is that they stopped paying for the cable channels. 
No WiFi and no TV … On went my music! 🙂
The ‘free Breakfast’ was served upstairs in the Terrace. It was a typical Breakfast with coffee / tea, juice, scrambled egg, bread roll, margerine, and jam. It varied slightly each day.

OK but not worth the price that they are asking

The hotel had engaged to meet me and bring me back to the peer (I had heavy luggage). It never did! 
My room (probably the best in the hotel) wasn't clean when I got in and it faced directly a lamp post....
Add to this that it is located in a paved street when the charm of Isabela Island is its nature (all other streets in  early 2017 are sandy and most locals still walk barefoot ) and you will understand that this wasn't a Paradise at all!
