We stayed at the Hostal Terra for several days on a 15-day trip to Ecuador. The rooms with the large and comfortable beds were pleasant. The private bathroom and hot shower were comfortable after long days. The location was comfortable, Quito is a very large city and being at an easy connection point with highways, facilitates transportation. The staff was very attentive, we carried difficult entry and exit times for the different flights, kept our suitcases smooth on our escapes to the Galapagos and the Jungle and advised us on visits and tour services in the city, which made us optimize the time available.

On the recommendation of someone who lives in Quito, the Tomar this establishment was because of the proximity to our point of Reunion, the only good thing is the price and location, the rest the super poor service, the rooms at least the ones we took big, but with a smell of humidity, the poor WiFi, the 3 nights we were 2 without hot water, and the receptionist excuses with lies, the bathrooms without soap, in general as I comment only on the rest price to see and nothing to recommend, and in the end I ask the number of the person in charge of installing a drop off and tell me that you can't supply your number, really disappointed with this hostel and I don't recommend anything in the least, I think you can get something much better for the same value.

Very poor, only the price.

El Hostal, as they say, is very well located, close to the old airport and commercial premises, in the morning you can walk freely along the main avenue, but at night the place is not safe, so much so that to enter the hotel you have to ring a bell and wait for someone to come out and open the door, which is always locked and well secured, that should change as waiting outside the hotel is always exposed. Maybe they can improve it with a guard rail, slightly raising the standard of rooms and also the cost of rooms, which I think is very cheap (17.00 USD).

Personal capacity.

This hotel is ideal for when you arrive at night and take the bus from the new airport in Tababela (it is very far from the city) and stop 800 meters from the old airport Mariscal Sucre.

Good location

The hostel is simple but convenient and has the necessary services, even has free wifi even in the rooms because I went to more expensive hotels that charge you for this service. Close to the old airport which is where the buses that pick you up from the new airport now arrive. I am satisfied with the price vs. the service I received. Super clean!

It is comfortable and economical.

I think the only good thing about this hostal is that it is beside the airport. The rooms are very poor. Little and sad. Not so clean. Little bit scarey. There are 3 hostals with the same name beside each other. It is just 10 minutes to go to airport. So we just stayed there because our flight was in the middle of night. so we just sat a few hours in the room. The hostal is very noisy because it is situated beside the airport. So i wouldn`t stay there unless i want to fly in the middle of night.
