I didn't really have a choice. I was at the long-distance bus station late at night and had to turn back because of sold-out bus tickets. My CouchSurfing host could not accept me for one more night but called this hostel and reserved a room for me, and gave me the address.

The staff member finally appearing seemed either very confused (maybe waken up from sleep) or drunk. He knew nothing about my friend's recent call. Reproduced the info expected from him, but was almost impossible to communicate with him (I do speak Spanish!). Couldn't tell WiFi password exactly enough for me to use it. Room window opens to the stairway/hall, and after I had gone to bed he was listening to music, then at 6 in the morning they started to talk long and loudly. However, when I finally got up he looked much more reliable, gave the correct WiFi password, and after leaving the room I could and dared leave my luggage at them for the day.

Furniture and installation are old.

I ONLY recommend them if your major motivation of choice is price.

Low cost, low quality

Small and very noisy rooms. Had a lot of issues with Internet access. It will be very intermittent and they would not do Anything about it. Entering and exit the hotel was a nightmare. You were always locked in had to wait for attendant to let you out or in regardless of the hour of the night. The TV was from the 60s and there was no remote control for our room. Decor is awful. Ugliest picture on the wall with women and ducks. It looked like a nightmare. Very tight for 2 people. Lack of toilet paper and soap and not pleasant staff at all. I would not recommend staying here.

I had to go to this hostel since others were full. I haven't read any reviews before because I thought it won't be a problem to find a bed in the hostel I've stayed in my previous visit. But they were full too, and I had to walk from hostel to hostel until this one told me that they have a room. Private one. Ok. Good. It's a heavy rain and I don't want to search anymore. 
I can't say that it was the worst hostel but definitely not the best one. Room was small and shabby with window into hall. There was a TV and pretty decent wi-fi. 
Bed was clean and comfortable. 
Bathroom was ugly and super old. Although water pressure was ok. 
As for noise, the hostel is on the same street with lots of clubs. But I had a room in the back, besides it wasn't a clubbing day. So it was quiet. But lots of local couples went to hostel and this was the beginning of a nightmare. It was like I've been in porno-movie. Audibility is incredible. You could literally hear everything. I wasn't able to sleep even a bit. 
So use it only in emergency case.

This hostal is inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The first room they gave me faced the street. It was bright, but one window didn't lock, and the roof over the entryway was right under the window. I was given another room right away. This one was in the back, and was much darker. The hostal is right in the center of the bar/club district of New Town, and beginning in late afternoon, I could hear music blasting from at least 3 places, and customers drunkenly singing along. I couldn't get any hot water the first night I was there.
It's no fault of the hostal, but there is major construction on the sidewalks being done all over New Town, creating lots of dust and noise during the day.

Bring your earplugs

The whole stay was severly affected by the fact that I forgot my camera in the Hotel room on the day we left. We called the hotel right after we left for the airport and asked them if they had found a camera in our room. They said yes, and we made a deal that we would return on a set date to stay one night and pick up the camera. Now they claim that they have never had a camera. 

The stay could have been all right, but because the staff cannot be trusted, and because the service in general was bad, I can not recommend this Hostel to anyone.
