I was here four times over the course of a month as part of a school expedition. We stopped here on travel days between different camps and had exclusive use of the premises. Firstly, it's beautiful, old, colonial style house set in lovely grounds with volcano views. The staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable and there was electricity and plenty of hot water.....not always the case in Ecuador :-) The food was average and the area in which the hotel was set didn't have a lot to do but for a spot of RNR it was hard to beat!

Group accommodation

If you want a change from big Hotels that are mostly impersonal then Villa Da Fiore is the place in Quito for you. This family run establishment will make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door - nothing is too much trouble, and everything is done with a smile. The rooms are very comfortable and the meals are to die for! Even though it is about 30-45mins drive to the City depending on traffic it is well worth the effort and far away from the hustle and bustle of down town Quito. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.

Outstanding Service - Second to None !

I booked this hotel for a couple of nights to stay while in transition waiting for the rest of my party to arrive. I was amazed when I pulled up it is a beautiful house with a huge lot. The owner greeted me and took me to my room. The room was nice and spacious.  Showers have hot water!  He was very nice and accommodating.  He made my son and I a wonderful dinner and breakfast the next morning. He gave me tips on where to go in the area and even wrote it down for me. My son had a wonderful time playing in the huge yard. I cannot say enough about this hotel.  If I am ever in the area again I will stay here without a doubt.

Villa Da Fiore looks like a quaint 2-story hotel with courtyard nestled on a secure estate just outside of Quito in a rural area.   The furnishings are comfortable and can accommodate groups, but the real draws are the gardens, walking area, view, and especially the service.  Tanya was informative, pleasant and made sure we had all that we needed -- Conseuelo Escorza drove us back and forth to the airport as well as a small medical trip to a nearby town.  Tanya made sure we had a nice meal before we had to leave even though she was getting ready for eco-geo students that come often in groups.  It was a relaxing breath of fresh air after our late arrival the night before and flight out later in the afternoon.

Surprising Gem

Lovely location with a beautiful view- the hotel is very quaint and simple. Clean and quiet for sleeping in late! The owners were very accommodating to our schedule and let us in at all hours of the night with no problem. Any issue was resolved immediately. Highly recommend !
