Kharga does not see many foreigners and the hotel has seen better times but the management try their best. The facilities are good for the area and the swimming pool is kept clean. Each room has its own hot water boiler and the air-conditioning works

The rooms were clean and everything worked (unusual for this location). Food was enjoyable and the management helpful.

An enjoyable stay - very helpful management

Definitely the best hotel in the region and one of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Egypt. If you're from the US it compares to a holiday inn, except much more beautiful. There's fast and free wifi in the lobby with gorgeous stained glass windows casting a nice light. We were given a welcome drink upon check in and they carried our bags to our room. The room was a good size and the bathroom was very clean with hot water. Our balcony overlooked the pool which we used the following day and it was very clean. The grounds were well maintained as well.

A very clean and nice hotel

The hotel was not in its best shape, probably due to the lack of visitors allover Egypt recently. The room was overall good with a comfortable bed, but with many drawbacks. The toilet was always wet due to water leakage, which seemed to be a problem in other rooms also as my colleagues mentioned. The TV screen was so small and always needed assistance to switch it on (old fashioned one). The rooms contain a fridge but no coffee maker. The breakfast was ok with much choices, but the lunch was not. It is rather an Egyptian cuisine-type, which I don't think would be much tasty to foreigners. However, overall was accepted. Another drawback is the wifi, which is only available in the lobby and not in rooms. For entertainment, there is pool, a room for table tennis and a wide playground in the backyard for those enjoying football. The staff was very friendly and nice, and a positive remark was that none ever was waiting for tips (very unusual). The whole town is small, so going to most places was possible by foot, although taxis are always available near the entrance.

Average hotel, but the best in town

I visited kharga in a business trip and it felt like this was the only decent hotel in the city.
It's location was good but the hotel was nearly deserted.
They gave me a room that was far away and I had to walk a long distance to reach it.
The rooms were always dusty and the pool was never ready to have guests as they were not cleaned.
Breakfasts was acceptable for me but it most rooms there were no network coverage for data or mobiles.

Business trip

I checked the hotel before going online but missed checking out the reviews. We were a group of 6 people who started an off-road safari from Bahareyah Oasis to Dakhla Oasis and finally stayed in Kharga oasis. 

After camping for few days in hot.weather we were all looking forward to the hotel.

Once we came in we realized we were the only people at the hotel which is understandable due to the conditions in the area.

The staff were not friendly or that welcoming. They hardly accepted to help us with our luggage to the rooms.

The rooms were not too bad (compared to sleeping in tents and sleeping bags in hot weather). The doors hardly opened and had cracks which passed light. The plumbing of the toilet was leaking causing an irritating noise. The balcony was so dusty that we could not use it. The swimming pool had greenish water.

The wifi is only at the reception which is not very convenient.

The food was too bad. The omlete at breakfast was partly raw and we were served Rumi cheese which had visibly green fungus. When I commented on the cheese they replaced the plates without apologizing.

one member of the staff made few comments on how Egyptian tourists are not rewarding which we found quite offensive given that we were almost the only guests (later we understood there was also a family of four ppl)

I would never recommend this place and would never go back again.
