The most beautifull place in Egypt what we have ever seen, atmosphere, services and beauty of this nature is really amazing, we highly recommend this hotel, the beach is so beautifull and clear and the hotel is quiet, thank you very much :-))

Paradise

We just returned from 4 lovely weeks in Gorgonia Beach Resort. Before we return again in december, I would just like to thank all of the staff for the wondefull holiday. As a repeater to this hotel we really feel welcome and special. We were able to stay in our preferred room and the housekeeping was amazing as ever. This time we celebrated the 16th birthday of the hotel with an amazing cake in the shape of the hotel. This was combined with the celebration of Ferragosto. What a great day with an amazing show at night and also the foamparty was a big success. I would just like to give some extra credits to the great animationteam form both the hotel (Mo - strong man, Hoka, Emmy, Lucy, ZIzo) and from Franco Rosso (Mattia, Chris, Tony and the others) They worked very well togehter and made all the guests special and welcome. Last but not least a shoutout for Mustafa (Musty) and Abdallah from the beach sport activities. They are amazing. But in all fairness, so are all the staffmembers who work in the garden, in housekeeping etc. For us, Gorgonia is the best place to be in Marsa Alam (and we have seen some hotels in MArsa Alam). Great food, very clean, available for people with disabilities and a beautiful reef with a great diving school (TGI).
We can't wait to seel you all again soon in december. Greeting form Abu and Omoe Mizo/Treka.

Another perfect visit

Lovely structure and beautiful sea. The food is normal, but there is a lot of choice . 
the extra restaurants are ok, better the pizzeria than the "vela".
The room is spacious and very nice, the staff is ok.

Nice

We had great family time. The entire team is really kind, especially the sport team at the beach tennis. Usually food is repetitive but not there. The buffet was of quality and a lot of choice. In addition, there were two restaurants where we could go: a fish restaurant and a pizzeria. The reef and jetty were a great plus. There swimming pool are clean and the water don’t smell chlorine. The rooms were always clean thanks to Mahmoud and reception is always ready to help. They only have to improve the coffee at the breakfast and buffet. These Nescaffe machine are not good at all. Thanks for everything. My family.

Your right choice

Very professional and helpful. We had very serious issues and doctor Mohammed helped us. If you suffer for any illnesses, don't bother to reach out to doctor, since he is very professional. He helped us even on late evening hour. Highly recommend

Profesional service


Pro's: 
Food: while food presentation remains sometimes as in a "school cantine", quality was very good, you can always find something you like.  Nobody was sick which is a real plus, while we ate salads, etc... Very diversified offering. To improve: No free fresh orange available. So as "a tip": take your own "press-orange" and grab some oranges the day before.

Room: Very clean, comfortable, A/C working properly; gardens very beautiful.

A/C: August is hot, despite lower A/C in the dining area, eating outside is a very good alternative with pleasant wind. So, this was not an issue.

Corals and sealife: very good! That was the reason we booked there and not disappointed.

For a Belgian family, French speaking, we found Italian guests (majority) very pleasant (not loud, smily, respectful, well-dressed and polite). Idem for Dutch guests.

AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT
Areas above deserve a 5 stars BUT

EGYPTIAN Personel: we don't judge the Italian animation as few interactions but despite very positive comments from other guests, EGYPTIAN personel needs a real UPGRADE IN POLITENESS. What do I mean? MOSTLY WAITERS (restaurant, bars): Basically, rarely : "Hello, good morning, thanks, here you are, we're welcomed". Just cold eyes while we found ourselves too polite as no polite words from the majority of them. Basically, when they realize you're not the customer to tip, they are just RUDE in a lot of cases. We saw NO MANAGER supervising them or asking the guests if all was OK. One waiter tried to make a joke with another waiter by replacing a glass of red wine but a glass of mixed (?) rosé, red. We noticed it but few excuses and just embarassment as being caught by us. RUDE.

Bazard/Souk: AVOID the SHOE SELLER: RUDE/RUDE. I've informed the front desk but obviously, they don't care (friend of them?), while I 've always been polite. Again, ISSUE of Style, Politeness from personel. I understand that the front desk is a diffilcult place as people are complaining a lot but here I was complaining about lack politiness and answer from their side is LACK OF POLITNESS as the front desk person looked at me agressively.

Pool: cleaning process has to be improved: the middle of the swimming pool, which is huge, remained full of chicken bones, weired waste items. In a nutshell, try to find a way to clean the pool more properly. Birds around were not an issue, I've found it rather nice and pleasant.

All in,  5 STARS for the corals, food, gardens. 1 STARS for the Egyptian personel looking for tips, money all the time (even front desk and manager!) while external egyptian people selling services around the pool and the beach where much more POLITE! No complaints. 

Belgian family: Pro's and Areas of improvement

This was my second time in Marsa Alam. But this resort blew my mind. There are so many different food options. The staff us were nice and helpful. And the animation was amazing. I loved every show they set up.

Best Resort

A nice resort. Clean spacious room.

The pool is very big, well cleaned by friendly staff. The beach is beautiful, with a great reef (snorkeling)

People regularly come by to ask if you want to use their services (massages, salt cave, etc.). We met David, a very friendly, honest man who gave us a great experience with a dune buggy through the desert! 

Beautiful resort, nice place for snorkeling

it was my fourth visit
I feel like Georgina is my second home.
 I arrived at 11:30, I received the room at 12:15.
The reception was great but unfortunately the air-conditioning was not working
The resort is quiet and has a beautiful green area
I had lunch and quickly went to the sea. It's the most beautiful place to my heart, as I was freed from my fears, got rid of the life jacket, and practiced snorkeling with the support of the guard Jetty,  which I have never seen anywhere else.
And it was distinguished and special time especially because diving there is special and the sound of oxygen pipes adds pleasure and happiness to my heart
And I extend my sincere thanks to both gentleman and handsome Mr. Malak Ghattas the chambers official
The rooms are very clean and renovated and they were orange and became light gray
The restaurant has various types of food they were delicious in taste and ice cream that is available all day
I was hoping to meet Mr. Mohamed Eid, the reservation officer, but luck doesn't agree with me until now, and he has all the respect and appreciation from me

Gorgonia..the best..ever..without competition..a piece of happiness..every time we visit Gorgonia, we look forward to visiting it, and we hope to visit it again and again..and certainly not out of nowhere..Gorgonia Hotel is an establishment whose goal is to make the guests happy with everything they have From his experience, friendliness and love .. So thanks to the unique Gorgonia Resort .. I especially mention the reservations officer Mr. Eid, as well as the room manager Mr. Malak .. for the welcome and warm reception .. and the restaurant manager for the wonderful and distinguished buffet .. and the reception manager to We were allowed to leave at three o'clock in the afternoon, and we were also allowed to receive the rooms as soon as we arrived.. And of course, the Gorgonia Resort, which is distinguished by its vast green spaces that represent wonderful artistic paintings. As well as the distinguished coral reef. Every time I visit the hotel, I discover something new and new in it. The rooms are extremely clean and provide all our needs. Gorgonia made me a great surprise by celebrating my birthday in the restaurant and presenting a wonderful show with a birthday cake By the way, this is the fourth visit, and I look forward to the fifth and sixth visits.
