We stayed here as this was the hotel that was booked for us if you intend to climb Mt. Sinai. We were forewarned that the hotel was not the best there is in the area and they were right.  Place looks nice from the outside but inside the rooms, it looked run down, only that there seems be recent fresh paint on the  walls. Bed was not that comfy (some say it even had bedbugs), unless you're a backpacker and the front door knob and bathroom fixtures were in real bad shape as the faucets, toilet flush and shower were in disrepair, with no running hot water at that.   This hotel would be a dream for backpackers, but not if you're on a budget, then this would be a nightmare.

No choice to book but this hotel..

This is not a hotel. It is for pilgrims who wish to climb mt Sinai and be taken advantageous of.
No water unless you pay for it, single beds, no internet in rooms, front desk of rude unhelpful men, no meals that you can buy using credit or debit cards. You must use cash —- beware. Meals the worse in Egypt, no variety, very basic full of carbohydrate. Suggest no travel agent send customers to this place without a warning. It is worth 100 egp per night. Beware what you pay!

The worst experience in Egypt. This building falsely advertises.

I never believe that I had to stay in a such dirty and horible hotel.  
Dirty rooms and bathroom at all. 
Moild stains insects. OMG. Avoid it at any cost. 
I think they never clean it

Nice Villares, close to Mount Sinai.  Dust, dust, dust ! Lobby area, rooms pool, shops. Please clean better your hotel. Breakfast good, good service too. . A hotel for pilgrims,  but please, clean it better !!!

It's all about cleaning  !

This hotel is disgusting. It is beyond dirty.  The towels was wet and derty. The room had not been cleaned. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was caked with dirt and grease. The blankets were dirty and smelled bad. I chose to ride a camel through the night to the top of Mt. Sinai rather than sleep in the room. All the room are off an open corridor. The food was basic and tasteless and there was no drinking water  - only when we paid for it... 

Do not stay at this hotel

It's basically a hostel, simple rooms, with all sorts of improvisations, like a concrete brick instead of a table leg ...
There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby, and that too is very slow.
Unprofessional workers, like forgetting to unload luggage for the bus ...

Very simple hotel

This hotel is disgusting.  It is beyond dirty.  I found a used razor in my shower upon arrival and one of the towels was wet.  Obviously the room had not been cleaned.The exteriors of the waste baskets were so dirty I was afraid to use them.  The exhaust fan in the bathroom was caked with dirt and grease.  I chose to ride a camel through the night to the top of Mt. Sinai rather than sleep in the room.  All the room are off an open corridor.  Wild cats yowled outside the room all night.

Disgusting hotel

Arrived late evening  from Israel- Egypt Border. Property looks okey from the outside. But this definitely needs  extreme renovation. Bathrooms is small and water pressure is too low. Beds a bit hard and beddings seems too old and unclean. Room is a bit dusty. Room lightning is a bit dark for our liking. Room locks seems to be unsafe. Don't expect room toiletries. Banquet food is not recommendable I only ate hard boiled eggs during our overnight stay.  During the morning view is breathtaking.

In the Middle of Sinai

Okay, this was the only hotel at the base of Mt. Sinai.  It was rustic to say the least; however, I slept like a rock.  It was January, rainy and windy and cold.  Brrr.  There were a lot of feral cats around, but they were not problematic.  There were Bedouin tents nearby, and that wasn't problematic either.  The food was average, but you could tell they were trying to please our group of 41.  If I sleep well, I am not as cranky when I write reviews!!

Out in the Middle of Sinai Desert

This set a new low bar for a hotel ever. No idea why this place, near mt Sinai could be this bad and why is only hotel in area. Outside is fine. Rooms are terrible. Food was ok. Have one Egyptian beer and one Egyptian white wine. If you can, find another way and another place to stay to do mt Sinai.
