This is the hotel you go to when you visit the monastery of Santa Catalina.The hotel has very deteriorated rooms, a bathroom in very poor condition and a bed, old bedding and mattresses.The food is like a buffet like breakfast and the truth is one eats it because there is nothing else.I do not recommend it, but I think there is no other place in the area.

There is nothing else.

Haunted House will bad smell everywhere. Broken  sockets broken tables broken W.C broken taps broken soap dispensers. I would suggest to sleep in the car rather than wasting money on this horrible place. Rooms are over priced with no facilities at all . No heaters . Dirty towels smelly rooms. Smelly lobby. Smelly dining areas. Its just terrible 

Haunted House

The hotel is horrible. The staff is attentive, but everything is very rough. Everything is old, everything is dirty. In the lobby bathroom there was not even a discharge in all the private rooms, there was no soap! The rooms are also very dirty, very old furniture, rusted metals, dusty bedding, the bathroom falling to pieces. Detail: we were in a group of almost 30 people, and only a few managed to take a hot bath, because there is not enough stored water for everyone! This in a cold place... It was almost winter, we need to turn on the heater (which not all rooms have). Many, like me, had a severe allergic crisis. Finally, this was the (high) price that was paid to be able to climb Mount Sinai, given that the region is precarious.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in my life

has to be last option to book if no other hotels are available. the rooms are big and spacious thats the only good part. now the bad parts.
1) bath rooms dont have locks in many rooms.
2) no hot water available.
3) NO INTERCOMS TO CALL THE RECEIPTION OR ANY BODY HAVE TO WALK ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE RECEIPTION FOR ANY REQUIREMENT.
4) food dont need to write anything. 
5 the receiption smells of smoke

This hotel will haunt me in my dreams. It will be a miracle if my girlfriend does not break up with me after I made her stay here. 

We stayed with a group to hike St Catherine with a group of about 20. There were mosquitoes in the room. The toilet didn’t flush and it leaked out of the handle. There was a used bar of soap in our shower with stray pubes on it. Our friend had multiple cockroaches in his room. And the food made many of us sick. 

Some of us chose to sleep on the tour bus instead of spending another minute in our rooms. This place needs to be shut down immediately.

This hotel will haunt my dreams

The hotel facilities, lobby, restaurant and especially the rooms are in drastic dirty condition certainly unfit to receive guests. 

Accordingly to the hotel manager they have been closed for almost 2 years due to Covid 19 which resulted in no business, however this is no excuse for the shameful condition the property is in.

This hotel should be completely shut down, fully renovated, before being licensed to receive guests.

Total disaster

 This was part of our tour with American Israel Tour group. We arrived with a group of 21, to st. Catharines for dinner with the Bedouins followed by a late night/early morning hike to view sunrise on the top of Mount Sinai. This was a day 4 in Egypt for us on our tour.
The hotel has seen better days. My experience was only taking a 2 hr nap after dinner/dancing w/the Bedouins, prior to riding a camel for sunrise at Mt.Sinai.
The experience with the amazing Bedouins was one I'll never forget! The meal was one of the best of my 15 day trip thru Egypt, Jordan and Israel! The Bedouin bread is like the flour tortillas from home, in Texas! They are pizza sized, cooked over a wood burning fire by a very handsome Bedouin! 
Entertainment during and after dinner was drums and dancing by the men! The cultural experience was my favorite of the entire trip! 
Warning: there are cats. Lots of cats. But im an animal lover so I just shoo'd them away. 
If u get the opportunity,  definitely do the dinner. If they have the organic spaghetti sauce, try it. If u enjoy a little heat, add the pureed red peppers! Delicious! 

The best part of this hotel stay was dinner with the Bedouins!  

The travel agency in Mexico ASWAN TOURS sold us this hotel as a 4-star hotel. I think it's enough to look at the photos to conclude that it doesn't deserve one. The ruined and stained bathrooms, the bed was rotten and my husband fell to the floor when he sat on it. The stained armchairs are just like the bedding. The food is not talked about, disgusting. There were no cold drinks in the dinner (which of course charge you apart). Mosquitoes, ants and insects in the rooms. Dust and dirt per doquier. We obligate the owners of these establishments to provide a DIGNOR service. Do not recommend it to my worst enemy!

It was a total abuse.

A very nice place to relax and relax after a long day of adventure, comfortable and comfortable rooms, clean most importantly. although we only spent one night in our place quite well, on arrival the dinner buffet very varied and served on the terrace is appreciated, the breakfast buffet varied and rich above all the fruits. impeccable and well maintained facilities.

Excellent place to stay.

It's okay for a hotel to be simple, but this hotel is terribly dirty. The hotel's general facilities have no maintenance and are falling apart. The swimming pool was very dirty and one of them with the blanket off. In the bathroom we find cigarette butts on the floor and dirt. They don't change bed sheets, we have to put towels on the pillow so that we don't smell the smell of other people who used the bed. Little lighting in the room. Horrible breakfast: no variety and repeat the same meal from dinner the night before.
