Fantastic place to stay. Great staff especially Fiona who made me feal very welcome. Room 3 was very comfortable,  heating, shower that was adjustable and heated up quickly.  Tea, coffee, biscuits including sherry in room. Choice of breakfast hot and cold. Very clean throughout.

Lovely experience in one of the most beautiful spots on the Isle of Man. It’s an excellent dark skies spot! 
Comfortable rooms & guest lounge. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, John & Fiona, who have thought of everything to make your stay both comfortable & memorable.   
Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. 
Loads of good walks on doorstep from gentle to challenging. Opportunity to see a bit of farm life if so desired.

I can not think of a nicer place to stay on the Isle of Man.
The view outside the front door says it all. Access to hiking trails behind the farm was great. The scenery is just breath taking.  The employees of the farm are very helpful and nice.

Quiet and Relaxing

Having read previous reviews, we had high expectations for our B&B stay- we were not disappointed!
We enjoyed a warm welcome, great breakfasts, a cosy lounge area and a good sleep each night. It came to an end all too soon.

Home from Home

The views are spectacular and it’s so peaceful. The walks were great - walking boots and a good waterproof coat is a need be plus plenty of changes of clothes for those rainy days!
I loved the working farm and being able to feed the farm animals. The wigwam was super warm and because it’s quite cosy it warmed up quickly and retained the heat perfectly.

Unfortunately we were disappointed by the cleanliness as there were areas that could have a bit more attention - for example the mattress protector and the pillows. 
Also I found the fold out bed very uncomfortable but considering we were in the wigwam just in the evenings to sleep it didn’t impact our stay too much.

Would highly recommend if you love nature and just want some down time 

Beautiful view and so peaceful 

We stayed in one of the Wig Wam's. Absolutely beautiful scenery, very tranquil and allows you to enjoy nature to the fullest. The Wig Wam has every thing you could ever need and extremely well equipped. Fiona, John and the team are always available to help. Couldn't recommend enough. We will definitely be back. 

Little piece of paradise

A wonderful place to stay within the countryside.
Relaxing  with stunning dark skies.
A treasure outside of Peel and  within walking distance.
Glamping is a great way to enjoy nature,with the sheep and donkey giving an early morning call.

We stayed in The Stables.  It was LOVELY!  So spacious - lovely big leather sofas in a double height living room with log burner.  Each of us had a big double bedroom with an en-suite - luxury!  The hot tub was a really different experience as we had to light the fire to warm it up first - it added to the fun!  The stables is super eco-friendly as it is heated by a air source heat pump.  The owners were lovely.  Nothing was too much trouble.  The farmer took us on a tour of the farm so that we could meet the sheep as my daughter is interested in agriculture.  There was sooooo much to see on the island too - we saw wild seals and porpoises, we went on a steam train, we had a tour of the old parliament, drove around the TT race circuit, saw ancient viking and celtic artefacts and enjoyed lovely unspoilt sandy beaches with virtually no tourists even though most of the IOM tourist attractions seem to be very cheap entry.  I can't imagine staying anywhere nicer.

The Stables at Knockaloe Beg are lovely!

We stayed in the wooden cabins, Robins Nest.  These cabins are a perfect size for a getaway and have everything you need to ensure your stay is comfortable. I was worried they may get a little cold but once up to heat they stayed beautifully warm for our whole stay keeping us nice and cosy.  The location is super quiet so you are able to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Peel Hill and the sun beaming through the windows of the cabin. In other months I imagine the fully stocked fire pit (too windy and wet for us this time)  will be a great addition to the experience.  The wood fired hot tub was the best 🔥😍.   On the first night It took longer than indicated to heat up from cold (probably given the wind direction and strength) but again once it was warm it provided a beautiful spot to star gaze, enjoy a drink and just generally have a hot healing spa.  The tub held alot of  it's heat from the first night (provided you use the the cover on it when finished) so on our second night it was much quicker coming up to temperature. Be aware that obviously you need to be on site when bringing the hot tub up to temperature as it requires the feeding of the burner.  If you are expecting to go out for the day and then jump in the tub then this is probably not going to happen. Overall a lovely set up, very private, quiet, clean, environmentally conscious and close to Peel by vehicle or a 30 minute walk. Sadly no photos because we were too busy paddleboarding at the nearby Niarbyl and mountain biking  up in the hills. Would highly recommend, we loved it. 

Great set up, beautiful views, perfect all year round getaway 💜

We stayed this past weekend, and it was just lovely, everything you could need to make your time there enjoyable, we stayed in one of the wigwams over looking all the fields and farm, breathtaking views. Our dog beabea had the best time and great walks. You have a fridge to microwave, so se basically went shopping filled the cupboards and had some great relaxing time. Finally getting my husband away from his office. Can highly recommend, Fiona is just lovely, always there for any questions you might have. If you need some serious time to chill and relax, this is great
