Jurna Recreation Farm was a fantastic local experience. I was part of a G Adventures group who traveled to Saaremaa Island in August and it was one of my favorite parts of our Baltic trip. The owners, husband and wife, are so friendly and helpful. The food they prepared for us was fantastic and they even made accommodations for my pesky gluten free, vegetarian diet! It's a cozy place to stay and you can also do laundry there if you need. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit the island.

Had a great stay with Matti, he is a great host very accommodating and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The food is delicious the soup was so fresh and tasty. Such a relaxing time to spend in Saareema! Thank you very much

Three nights spent relaxing and enjoying this beautiful place. Good base to visit island attractions. Catered well for vegetarians with beautiful fresh food & fruit from the garden. Attentive host who worked hard to keep our big group happy.

Tour group stop

A lovely farmhouse located not far from the center of wonderful Kuressaare. The farmhouse has multiple cottages, several different sizes and types. The accommodations were immaculate! The furnishings were charming and comfortable.

The setting is idyllic...must be like paradise! The owners could not have been more cordial and accommodating. I am a vegetarian and feasted on the most scrumptious meals. Every night a new, glorious vegetarian dish awaited-- amazing!
Highly recommended...a bit of paradise!

Paradise Tucked Away in Saaremaa!

I stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour.  It ended up being my favorite spot on the two week/four country trip!  The Farm is not so much a farm but more of a B&B.  There are fruit trees and veggie patches, but it is mostly about the cabins that you stay in.  A variety of comfortable rooms are managed by Matti and Ari, a lovely couple who welcome you with open arms and delicious food. All meals are made from scratch and specifically for you and your group.  I have a food allergy and they took particular care to make sure I knew which foods were safe for me to eat.  They even changed a few desert recipes so that I could partake in the delicious eats!  You will feel right at home at Jurna - I hope you get to visit soon!

A Charming and Relaxing Stay

Amazing Farm House run by a lovely couple. 
This is a perfect place to go and relax in this beautiful island. The couple who runs the place takes maximum effort to make your stay comfortable. The food is AMAZING! Homemade food they serve is so fresh and delicious. The breakfast buffets has everything from fresh fish, meat, eggs, bread, cereal, fruits, fresh juices, homemade jams, variety of teas, coffee, other sweets, nuts, and etc. 
there are rooms in the main cottage as well as a few separate small cottages. The room we stayed was a big room which can sleep 5 people. It has comfortable beds and everything we needed. The nature around is beautiful and there are cherry trees and other berries. There is no livestock around which I though was nice because I don’t really like some farm houses where their livestock is also near the house. Here the gardens and the surrounding is so clean and well kept. Really enjoyed out three nights there and it was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. If you are in the Saaremaa island and staying near Kuressaare, this is a great option. Suites for  couples, friends, family.

Best homestay with amaizing food 


Jurna Recreation Farm

A absolutely beautiful little farm with comfortable farm houses to sleep in with all the creature comforts, run by an a amazing couple serving the most wonderful food. The Garden is filled with Apple, Pear, Peach, Gooseberry, elderberry,  and Cherry trees heavy with fruit. Such a relaxing place to stay whilst in Saaremaa Island 


G Adventure Group Tour

Stayed at this lovely farm for three nights. The accommodation was pristine. The meals were fabulous. The hosts were gracious. This is a must stay! It’s a short taxi ride away from Kuressaare. Can also get there via bike or even on foot. 

Awesome home away from home 

There are rooms in the main house and cottages.  We were in an upstairs apartment with a livingroom, 2 bedrooms, a toilet and another toilet with shower.  The downstairs apartment had one bedroom and a kitchen.  This is not for the handicapped as we had to climb stairs and our bedrooms were a step down from the livingroom.  We enjoyed the home cooked meals.  You are 6 kms from the town.

Relaxing away from it all place

We stayed at Jurna  for 2 nights and are glad we did. Jurna is abut 5km out of Kuressaare in  a very pleasant and peaceful location.

Friendly owners  that take a lot of pride in what they do; excellent breakfasts with juice, berries and fruit off the farm as well as the usual eggs, bread cheese etc.
Our room was spacious and comfortable and we really enjoyed our 2 nights.

Its only a few minutes into town if you need a restaurant in the evening, so near enough to everything, but far enough away to be be peaceful and quiet.
