- Big rooms. 2 adults and 2 children (age 7 and 1) fit nicely even with the crib in the room
- some flexibility in check-outs if free rooms available
- friendly hostess 
- free parking in the garden
- no problems with hot water under shower

- card payments don't work
- no breakfast included
- no air condition, they only have fans
- the mattresses are filthy 
- bed sheets are hard

More like a motel

Not the best service in town: less English speaking, no card works. Stuff was ok, normal service.  Room was clean. 
Breakfast a little bis less, but scrambled eggs are possible by asking friendly. For one night only. Parking in the garden, be careful with the apple tree ...

For one night ok.

Last week of the summer season. Very peaceful place, nice personnel. Breakfast is normal, enough for a 100kg guy. By some standards it was modest. Probably those who think so, are used to stay in different kind of hotels anyway, the one next door with 5 stars. But at this price you don't get to choose. 300 EUR for a week double room is cheap.

One thing I miss in the room is fridge. It is 30 degrees out now and the room is quite hot. No AC. But here these hot days are rare.

Personnel is kind and good with children. 

I will return next summer. 

Cozy place

Our room was not cleaned even ones when we stayed 4 nights. The trash can was emptied but no sheets or towels were changed. Ones we even ordered cleaning wih sign in the door handle and left all the dirty wet towels on the floor and when we came back the wet dirty towels were picked up from the floor over the door to dry!! 

Also when we one night came to the hotel like 5am the hotel door was locked and it took 20 minutes pressing doorbell (like instructed) until some employee came to open the door. There were no phone number to call and we started to be quite desperate will we get in. And the employee was not sorry, he didn't say anything only looked very angry.

The breakfast was very modest and ones I tried to eat egg which taste little weird we started to eat our breakfast elsewere.

But all of this setbacks the most annoying thing was the behaviour of the employees. They were not being sorry about the problems, they didn't ask how everything is or went. They didn't say good morning, they didn't even smile when you saw them. One younger girl might have been a little different but we saw her only ones.

I could also tell something about the building and the room but I think I don't have to. 
Never again..

Awful service, rooms and breakfast, good location

We came to Pärnu in the morning without having any idea where to spend next night. We found a fantastic location here next to the beach and only 5 minutes walk to the centrum. There were a couple of other villas too and we checked them also but decided to stay in Villa Katariina because of the big and bright room and very frindly service. Our room was probably recently renovated and there was a plenty of room. Even the bathroom was very clean and tidy. We had a breakfast when we arrived to the villa (free of charge!) and as usually in the next morning. The breakfast was good and diverse (bread, cheese, cold cuts, porridge, eggs, youghurt, juice, coffee...) but -of course- not as versatile as would be in a good hotel. There were a Finnish one-person-band playing in the evening and people were dancing. We had a good time!

Cosy family villa

Totally not worth the money. The room was dirty, it looked liked someone has been stabbed on the wall-to-wall carpet.. The "boss" was rude, the breakfast was extremely modest. They even charged 4 euros for a bottle of water. TV was broken, and they didn't fix it. The room wasn't cleaned up even once during our 3 night stay. Never again.
