Villa Ohrid

It was a great stay for me&my wife. We had stayed for two nights. Cveta was very friendly and she was a  great host. Definitely recommend Villa Ohrid. Hope to be back again.

I was here last September and loved the place. The views from the balcony are amazing. The owners were always very nice and pleasant. They helped whenever i asked.Its a 15 minute walk to Ohrid lake. 15 minutes from St. Johns church.  And 5 minutes from the ancient theater. My unit came complete wit dishes, glasses, a stove top, and cooking utensils. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room I had faced Lake Ohrid. It was amazing to wake up and have coffee on the balcony. Except for hearing an occassional yell from a boat, the area is so quiet. You're up on a hill so you overlook the lake and the town. It was a great view. The room was just what you would want. A shower and attached bathroom. Two beds and a balcony.There is also a kitchen down the hall for community use which had a coffee pot, dishes, pots, pans and silverware. I really enjoyed this hotel and the entire area. Go see lake Ohrid before its over run by tourists. This place is a little gem you find once in a while.

Property is a bit up the hill but luckily it’s good walk.

We had the best experience at Villa Torres! Torres and his sons Branco and Tome went above and beyond to make this the best experience for us! Accommodations were beautiful, clean and in a fabulous location.  Highly recommend!  They treated us like family and went out of their way to make things easy for us, as we were travelling with our 85 year old father who has health issues.  Their hospitality was second to none!  Thank you Villa Torres (Torres, Tome and Branco)!!!

We stayed in the ground floor apartment and it was perfect for us (couple + 1 year old) with plenty of space and everything we needed. The view was amazing. The host, Cveta, was great: she quickly found another cot when the original one provided was too small for our son, gave us fresh raspberries from the garden during our stay and was generally really friendly. Particularly for the price, this is a great place to stay in Ohrid (as long as you can walk up and down hills!)

Perfect stay with the most stunning view of the lake. Really sweet host. Can really recommend this place in the old part of town

The Ohrid lake view from the balcony of these rooms is amazing. I've stayed here several times now and it has always been excellent. Highly recommended for inexpensive stay. The place is quiet, convenient & clean. Wifi is great. The host is friendly, generous and available should you need anything. Thank you, Cveta! AAAAA+++++

Visit to Ohrid - Villa Torres

We stayed in the violet room (classed as the romantic studio on hotels.com) and it was so lovely. Very spacious room with a double bed and small sofa/table with stools. It even has a fridge which is ideal for keeping food, milk and wine etc. 

The bathroom is quite tight. It was ok for us as we are quite small but if someone quite large was to stay it may be a bit uncomfortable. 

The kitchen is down a short corridor and you can help yourself to teas and coffee. It is well stocked with cutlery and kitchenware. We ate out, but had breakfast in the room/balcony (wrapped ourselves in the exact Ra blankets and it was so cosy) and it was ideal for this. 

The best part is the balcony, absolutely stunning views. Definitely stay in this room over the economy room as that was round the corner so you don't get the views or balcony space and it only cost £10 more to upgrade. The economy room is at the side of the house so you cant see much. Our balcony was a bit narrow but enough to get 2 people on. 

The owner, Cveta, was so lovely. Always answered our questions and speaks good English. Was very thoughtful and made sure we were always prepared with umbrellas! She recommended a local guide for us, Misko, who was brilliant and we saw so much with him. Public transport was nonexistent and taxis not that common, so having a reasonably priced guide was great.  

Location is spot on. So quiet in the old town, sometimes we were the only people walking in the street and you can only hear the birds in the morning. Within 10 mins you can be in the centre of Ohrid, where the boats depart/tours pick up. All the main sights in the old town are 5-10 mins walking away. Taxis can also drive by the apartment, which is handy. It cost us 15 euros/1000 dinar for a taxi from the airport. 

Overall this is a great base to explore this beautiful destination.

Beautiful stay in violet room

My wife and I stayed in the beautiful Panoramic Apartment 3 years ago , and returned again last week -but with 5 friends too -renting all 5 apartments at Villa Ohrid .  I would recommend this place to anyone contemplating a visit to this lovely corner of Europe .  The views are fantastic , the apartments well equipped and spotless , and the host Cveta is kind and helpful .  We all had a wonderful time here -and would all like to return . Ohrid is my favourite European destination -and Villa Ohrid  is the place to stay . Extremely good value too .  We were sorry to have to leave after 6 nights -I could stay here for a long time

As excellent as last time

We enjoyed the pool.  We REALLY appreciated that the adult pool was open 24/7.  

We liked the room.  It was odd & interesting, but nice, and it had great views from the balcony!  We also liked the kitchenette quite a bit (even though the stovetop was hard to figure out how to use).

The front desk staff member who waited an extra hour to check us in was amazing!  She was incredibly kind and helpful, and the front desk staff was consistently fantastic!!

On the other had, we didnt care for the breakfast staff.  The service was a bit aloof, slow, and difficult.  We also did not care for the food itself.  We didnt like anything that we ate over both days of our stay.

Overall we enjoyed our time, flaws and all, it was nice here.

An odd & interesting property.  Nice enough.

This was a very comfortable place to stay. The rooms were spacious, with comfy beds, your own mini-fridge, a couch to sit on, and little table to sit at, and even a balcony to sit at. The owner also threw in access to some basic beach items, like and umbrella and beach seat covers. The shared kitchen was very clean and well equipped. The location in old town was perfect - just a few minutes walk from almost all attractions. The owner was very helpful and obviously cares a lot about the property. Highly recommend this.

Amazing Stay in Old Town Ohrid

This place is fantastic. I really everything about it. Wonderful host who is always available when you need anything. The location is perfect. It’s right in the middle of old town so it’s really easy to reach the must visit places in Ohrid. The old town is on the hill part of the area so get ready for some slightly steep walk. There are few restaurants not far from the villa.

I was at the Romantic suite which has a nice balcony facing the lake. It has one bedroom but there is a sofabed in the lounge so it could sleep 4. The place is well maintained and really clean. Everything worked including the wifi. It has kitchen which has cooking utensils, microwave and hob. It also has washing machine and iron in case you need it.

I really enjoyed my time in Ohrid. If I have a chance to visit the town again, I would definitely stay at this place again.

Great stay, fantastic view

We were extremely happy with our stay.
The owner was very friendly and helpful with tips for things that are worth doing, as well as arranging our taxi.
The room is clean and well equipped, and our balcony view was unbelievable.
It's about 10 minutes from the old town and all the touristy stuff, but still out of the way enough you can enjoy the quiet.
We only stayed for 2 nights, but we would love to come back. 

Highly recommended! 

We stayed here for 3 nights June 2019 in the family apartment with balcony and lake view. The views are amazing and the villa is in a good location in the old town. 5 - 10 minute walk to the lake front and plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Quite a steep hill to get to the villa but not a problem for us. We had access to a shared kitchen at the end of the corridor which we only used for making drinks so no problem sharing facilities. Air con, fridge and TV in room. Good wifi access. Rooms clean. Owner very friendly and helped us to arrange a taxi back to the airport. We didn't want to leave.  Only point is the mattress in the bedroom is too soft but it didn't spoil the holiday in anyway, I just prefer a firmer mattress.
Ohrid and the surrounding area is simply beautiful, we will definitely be going again and staying here. Thank you all at Villa Ohrid for a lovely holiday.

The best views in Ohrid

My family had a wonderful time in this villa. Mrs. Cveta is a great host, she was always available. The apartment was completely clean, spacious, with a beautiful view of Ohrid Lake. We really felt like home, and we will definitely come back again

Great vacation

Great bargain stay in this apartment with wonderful views of Lake Ohrid. The villa was impeccably clean, with two double beds, a small kitchen and lovely balcony. We loved to sit outside for breakfast with the gorgeous view!
