We spent 4 nights in apartment 8. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Last morning, before leaving for Skopje we were invited for cakes, cookies and drinks because that day was holiday in the Muslim religion.
The apartment :
You can park your car next to the building. The apartment was very clean, newly built or refurbished. The apartment didn't have lake-view but the garden was totally okay with a huge walnut tree and greens. Although the weather was very hot outside we didn't need to use the AC because the apartment was cool.
The apartment had a double bed, a bathroom with shover, basin and toilet, a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, electric kettle and 2 plates for cooking. 
There is a table for 2 and chairs. This apartment had a balcony, you can put the foldable table and chairs outside and have a nice breakfast on the sunny balcony.
If you want to cook there take some extra equipments. There are only 2 spoons, 2 forks, a few knives, 2 plates, a few glasses, a ladle, 1 pot with lid, 1 pan and a cutting board. No microwave or oven. 
The lake is very close. In cca 20 minute walk - partly along the lake partly climbing up on a little hill- you can reach the old city center, restaurants, floating  platforms. Watch the sunset from this hill, from the newly built path, it is marvelous. 



Best place to stay in Ohrid 

Modern and new apartments almost at the lake side with a nice owner who's willing to help and recommend the best places to see. It's a little further from the city center, but it definitely is worth the price. Recommend

Great place

Stayed here for over a week and would highly recommend Marina Apartments for anyone intending to travel to Ohrid. This very modern property  is scrupulously clean and in a very good location close to the lake. The owners are  friendly, helpful and very obliging .   Our second floor spacious air conditioned  apartment featured a spectacular view of Samuil's Fortress. The old town is a short  distance along the scenic cliff walking route that overlooks and passes close by  the  Church of St. John at Kaneo. Taxis are  plentiful and inexpensive for the short trip into Ohrid. Very enjoyable and relaxed  vacation.

A Home from Home.

I just loved the complex! We got there really easily, it is situated at 5 mins by car from the center and less than 100 meters from the lake, in a peaceful area. The building is new, well taken care of, and the apartment we had was just beautiful! It included a living room with three beds and oped kitchen corner, terrace, bathroom with a great shower, and as far as we understood there was another room which was closed as we didn't need it. Everything was just SUPER clean, the free wifi worked great and the host was really kind, non-invasive, spoke a very good English, gave us directions and free maps. The building had a big garden with a lot of space for car parking. We paid 20 e per night, which was more than convenient. Overall it was just great, not even one negative aspect, I highly recommend it and we will definitely get back there, Ohrid is so beautiful!

Excellent option

First impression: a shinning smile from the owner and a shinning clean hotel!
Our studio was on the 1st floor, had a queen double bed, a kichenet enough equipped, table with two chairs, bathroom and a nice balcony. Instant coffee sachets were an offer.
The hotel is situated about 20min walk from the city center, north to the castle hill, only about 100m from a lake-beach, at a very quiet neighborhood. 
A car is recommended since Ohrid Lake is very rich in interesting sites! Do not miss Sv. Naum and a boating along the channel with the springs, prehistoric settlement on Bay of the Bones waters, Pestani beach, Konjsko heights, cosmopolitan Struga and picturesque Radozda at the north Albanian borders of the lake.
And what can one say about the Ohrid old town, the Castle with its panoramic views, the antique Theatre and gates, and.. and...?!!
