Vierumaki resort is fantastic. It is set near to a forest and lakes, with trails around. There is any number of activities you can do; Horseback riding (Icelandic horses), cross country skiing, swimming, tennis, squash, skating, and more. There are saunas and a spa. One thing to note - as you prepare for the trip. All activities cost extra, and you need to book in advance. If you go during a busy season, many things are booked up already (we found the hard way when we wanted to book a massage). The other thing to note is that there are no extra amenities in the rooms. There is basic soap from a dispenser in the shower and at the sink, but other than that, no shampoo and conditioner or lotion, no robe provided. I have never stayed in  nice hotel where those things were not provided so I did not come fully prepared. The staff are friendly, but there is often a line at reception and make sure you plan for a few minutes for check in and check out.

Great place but missing some things.

Nice hotel for seminar. the breakfast in my opinion it is better than a typical Finish hotels serve. The servisse in general is ok in the hotel. Several possibilities of sports and sauna. The rooms are comfortable.

Good seminar hotel

A spacious, clean, modern hotel. The service worked smoothly.

My standard room did not provide any kettle or other coffee-making opportunities. It did, however, provide an ironing set.

Though the roim floors were quite cold, I did like the nice night lighting at the bathroom. A small mini bar, and a security locker. A good breakfast Finnish style! 

One night stay 

I booked 3 rooms for 3 couples a few months before arrival. I gave all of the names of the couples. Guess what, the confirmation had 3 different prices and one of the rooms was for a single. Apparently they use a booking service and the hotel could not help other than to make the single to a couple and to reduce the from the current room cost. However, still had 3 different prices. They would not try to create an average price so that all couples paid the same rate.

I stayed her on a business trip of 3 days 
The hotel is nice and clean but the service is very slow and sometimes even a bit neglecting and this is more or less every were  from check in, breakfast and in the grill restaurant.
But besides that a nice hotel clean rooms and the the nature in the surroundings is really great 


Nice hotel

Travelling north to south & this hotel is good stop off point. approx 1 1/2 hours north of Helsinki. In the middle of nowhere so all facilities need to be on site. if staying overnight then you should not be disappointed. The hotel is very large, modern & clean with free parking. The room was very good size & newly refurbished so nice & clean. Good choice of eating with restaurant, buffet & sports bar. i wanted casual dining so ate in sports bar. food was very good. I would definitely stay again when passing through

Nice hotel complex. Good for overnight stop

This hotel have good conference facilities and it's located in the middle of Finnish Olympic training center. There is good facilities nearby for training different kind of sport activities. Hotel restaurant is providing delicious meals.

Excellent hotel in the middle of Olympic training center

Relatively new hotel with fresh clean rooms and comfortable beds. Rooms were sound proof and couldn’t hear any disturbance - had a good nights sleep.

Restaurant’s (the Grill) buffets were good and had suitable variety of salads, fish, meat and veggie alternatives. 

Water tabs were closed during lunch and dinner, though, and water was available in a tank some place else so I finished my meals without a drink before staff managed to bring water to table 😄 Buffets could’ve been served both sides of the buffet table, too, to avoid the queues. 

Breakfast worked better.

The reception staff could’ve been more obliging and proactive. 

The hotel had a spa with saunas and a lovely relaxation area.

Peaceful sleepover 

Rooms are a bit small - modern and typical Finnish. The bed is too soft and the ventilator of the air conditioning system cannot be turned off, so I could barely sleep. Food is fine, but nothing special. The best are the many sports facilities (including golf courses and swimming lakes) and the scenery.

It's a beautiful landscape.

Excellent location if you like winter sports, the rooms are right though Finnish style, don't expect great luxuries although they are very functional. An advantage is that they have a clothes dryer to remove moisture from the sportswear. In general the hotel is very clean and well maintained. They have a restaurant Grill Buffet where you can have a nice dinner and in the sports bar you can enjoy all kinds of drinks.
