We stayed at Kaamasen Kievari from the 28th of December to 4th of January. Everyone we encountered here were lovely people and they couldn’t do enough for us. The room itself was very cosy and comfortable, we had two single beds in our room so we just pushed them together. The surrounding areas are beautiful and we were glad we had a car to travel around in. I would definitely recommend trying out some of the activities on offer, all great value for money and really good fun. Thank you for all the staff making our holiday perfect! 

Brilliant stay

We didn’t stay in the hotel but joined both the snowmobile and aurora hunting activities. Not only are both activities well planned, the hosts of the activities (Kirsi and Antti) are also SUPER FRIENDLY! They took good care of us during the activities in the cold winter and offered us very useful local advices. We surely will miss this place and we hope to return again very soon!

Excellent place for arctic activities :)

We stayed here in 2013 and decided to return on this trip too for 2 nights. Definitely recommend! The staff are so helpful and the location is great to explore Inari, visit the Sami Museum and enjoy this picture postcard area of Finland!

There is a restaurant and small shop. Food is great. Breakfast very nice and lots of choice. As with all Finnish cabins you have to pay extra for bed linen and towels. Cabin can accommodate a lot of people easily (just 2 of us!). Sauna was lovely (private sauna in cabin). No WiFi in the cabin but there is in the restaurant. TV has lots of working channels. 

Our only complaint-there was a noisy air conditioning unit we couldn’t switch off, and it would have been lovely to be able to light the fire but no logs were provided.

Owner has a beautiful dog and can give you lots of local information. We really wanted to go on a trip to a reindeer herd but the herder was too busy with his animals - the owners can organise trips for you, really helpful.

Our second visit - lovely stay!

Three of us stayed here two nights during our fishing trip to nearby lakes. The apartment was very spacious and sauna was great after spending the day outdoors.  Breakfast was very plentiful and delicious. Once we also ate at the restaurant and portions were ample and appetizing. Staff is very friendly and ready to help you whatever your problem might be. The bar is also worth checking, there you can meet some locals eager to give you friendly advice whether it comes to fishing or playing pool (they do have a pool table!).

Great oasis in the middle of northernmost finnish wilderness

We had a perfect trip at lapland staying in apartments with sauna. The apartment was warm, nice and cozy. Staffs are super friendly and caring. Food was great at the restaurant. We joined a few activities including aurora hunting, snowshoeing and husky ride. We were able to see the northern lights on last day of the stay :) Thank you Kaisa & her family!

Perfect place for friends!

Warm hearted staff let you feel invited. Here you meet real people living real life. This place should include in every man general knowledge who visit north Lapland. If you have not yet been here, next time you are driving European route E75, do stop by, it will be worth of it:)

Feels like home

We stayed in the cottage as part of the Aurora services. 
It has a room with 2 single beds at level 1 and another 5 single beds at the upper deck. We are happy with all the facilities except the washer (the water inlet want connected)...otherwise it will be perfect.
