Placed to the nature, beside a lake. 
The history of Pyhäniemi is interesting, it has been founded by Mr. Kalevi Keihänen, and it was supposed to be totally something else... There is a small exhibition of him too. 

Long beach with a water slide. 
Possible to rent things to outdoor activities. Also nice restaurant.
Cottages are tidy and fully equipped. Parking in front of the cottage. 
Kihniö it self is really small place with only one small food market.

Interesting and beautiful place

The Resort is situated in the woods, right on a beautiful large lake.  The log cabins are cosy with underfloor heating and a log burner.  Comfortable bed and good facilities. A wonderful place to stay.
It is situated in an area where there are numerous forest walks, tramps and bike tracks.

LOVELY AUTHENTIC RESORT

Beautiful nature gives rest to the soul. Whatever the weather, you can relax. If it is raining  the fireplace gives nice atmosphere to read  and enjoy a cup of coffee. If the weather is nice you can do the same on veranda outside. Possibilities for walking are good and nice to have sauna after effective walk.Sometimes is nice to cook in the house but also at times it is possible to go to the restaurant to have a meal or hamburger.  New beds give then good good sleep after happy day.

GREAT PLACE

Pyhaniemi is great place if you need break from city life. It is surrounded by beautiful nature, cottages are comfortable and there is nice activities in surroundings. It is good to have car to look around. We would definitely go back.

Great place to stay

We had one of the largest chalets (for 8 people). These chalets have direct access to the lake with a private ponton and a boat. They are very rustic (bathrooms very very very rustic). They have a walkway, a sauna and two TVs, the kitchen is quite well equipped, the wifi is available only at the reception. The club is in the open air, you can also see squirrels and rabbits every day. Perfect if you want to recharge in the open air. Beautiful landscape, lake chalet, small islands all around. Large beach and barge lake. However, by the course of the park there are about two national parks, there are only about 30 km to the beach, and the JAMA is very unable to answer the phone, and the staff are very unable to answer the phone.
