Appartment should be for 4 people but 2 need to sleep on footstools which are similar and same quality as beds used when camping. On top of this there was also blankets missing so one of us had to sleep without a blanket!!! 
If you want to have a vacation and sleep at least longer than 5 am, choose another place. We had appartment 1 which is on top of the K-Market storage. Truck came 5 am to unload and the noise of the metal cages which he dragged on the floor was overwhelming!!! Whole family woke up and this noise continued until mid day when employees came to work. 
I will not recommend this place to anyone and We will never come to this place again..

Disappointed

I got a pin number that didn't work, no door number at all. I got there to find that you needed a key to use the lift and there was no staff on site. I asked in a nearby restaurant and the lady didn't know much either. I called the staff, who first didn't even listen and kept repeating what I told them, so not very helpful. At one point I had to ask 10 consecutive times "Which one is my door?" to finally get the guy to understand! After 3 calls I finally got door number and the pin code! A very bad experience to start with, especially not being able to use the lift. 
The apartment was good, comfortable, but there was another problem: if you didn't have any bed clothes with you (as it was the case for me) you had to rent them. Ok, but at 15€ per night I would have expected the bed to be made! Also, there was a notice upon booking the apartment stating that a "variable cleaning fee" would be charged... When I got in I saw a big sign stating that it would be 70€. The "variable" part was explained in very bad English, which is another point that needs to be improved.
All in all, it was a totally self-service kind of place that meant to charge you more than bigger names such as Sokos usually do. I find that unacceptable and if the bed linen and cleaning fees had been clearly started on the booking website I would have stayed somewhere else. I felt like I had been cheated.

A self-service that's more expensive than a 4 star hotel

We stayed for a few nights before Xmas, in 2-bedroom apartment 18.
Apartment is well-equipped and reasonably spacious.
Bedrooms have plenty of space and storage.
Kitchen and living space are fairly compact, but fine for 3-4 people.
Bathroom and sauna are large for an apartment of this size.
There is a small balcony with view of the main ski slopes.
Apartments are well-located, being only a few minutes walk to the main attractions in Tahko, and with K-Market in the same building.
Previously we have stayed at Tahko Spa Suites, which are more modern, and have more spacious living area, but less spacious bedrooms - but at nearly 2x the price I won't be staying there again knowing Tahtitahko exists.

Good option in Tahko

There is different kind of apartments, with one or more bedrooms. What we stayed has one bedroom, livingroom, kitchen, bathroom, sauna and balcony. The building  is quite new and the apatrtment was clean and well equipped. There is no service, the room key was in a codedbox, but some apartment keys has to pick up from central booking services (Tahkocom). A view from the room is to skislopes. 
Sheets and towels and cleaning costs extra (sheets and towels 15e/person and cleaning 60e, book these before, afterwards costs are higher), or you have to bring your own and do the cleaning yourselves. The apartment has fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, owen, stove, micro, coffeemaker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher etc - bring your own washing powder). There is also tv, dvd, stereo and free wi-fi. In the bathroom are washing machine and dryer. The apartments have heating in the floor, so you can adjust it room by room for your comfort.  A noises from another rooms are heard and in our apartment there were odor of cooking coming from the restaurant. A car park is also free and have electricity for auxiliary heating. 
The location is great,  a grocerystore downstairs and also a restaurant which is open at evenings and two more restaurants at sight. There is a short walk to Tahko center (about 5min - shops, restaurants etc) and spa (about 150m) where is gym, bowling, table tennis, different kind of swimmingpools and courses for badminton, floorball, volleyball among another things. A cross country skiing tracks starts from Tahko center as also downhill skiing slopes. In Tahko are also two golf courses and one of them is at close range. In summer the beach is about 1,5 km away. More services will found at Nilsiä (about 10km).
