This was a 2-star hotel along the coast, so it had the typical sea-worn aspects and slightly moldy smell. But that was more than made up for by the wonderful location, very friendly personnel and a clean entryway. The beds were very clean and comfortable, and the view from the room was beautiful, with the harborfront and sea. The fishing boats cruised by each morning with their harvest, letting you know there was fresh fish for dinner. The hotel's breakfast was nicely prepared, and the balcony was perfect for eating it, or food we bought at the market for eat for dinner. I recommend it to anybody going to Agde. Free public parking was not far up the river- Recommend you park there, and walk the short way down to the hotel.

Cute hotel with a nice view

We stayed 2 nights and found this hotel charming.  Excellent location near shops and restaurants with a lovely view of the harbourfront and sea. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast fine. Owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definately stay there again .

Pleasant hotel

We had a wonderful stay at hotel l’Ephebe. It was a little difficult to park nearby but we loved being right on the river. 
Great local atmosphere, lots of great restaurants and shops nearby.
We had the breakfast each day which was ample and there was a lovely little terrace area you could eat your own food in. Athough we found it difficult when people were smoking, which is obviously quite normal in France!
The only downside was the bedroom which was very small, bed and pillows not very comfortable but we managed for 4 nights.

Perfect waterside location

The hotel is in a great position, overlooking the river and a few hundred metres from the sea.  Lots of restaurants very close.  Hotel is clean and owners very helpful.  Great views over the river. Watch out if you have heavy baggage because there is no lift.  But owner did help with carrying cases.  Good breakfast.

Hotel Ephebe

Hotel well located but not very comfortable and not at all luxurious. I did not like the bad musty smell on the common terrace, the horrible stairwell, the ugly breakfast room, nor the very banal room, nor the lack of space, nor the bathroom without window, etc.
