I don't normally write reviews but this accomodation was absolutely beautiful . The owners Patrice and Antoinette could'nt do enough for us they were the perfect hosts. The accomodation is set in the most beautiful idyllic gardens with everything you could possibly want e.g beautiful pool, tennis courts, jacuzzi,steam room , sauna the pictures you see don't do it justice you need to come here and see it for yourself!
The breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice. Once you come here you'll never want to leave and will definitely return . Thank you Patrice and Antoinette for making our holiday so perfect

A peice of paradise in the south of France

What a fabulous stay we had. Although our French is pathetic and the marvellous Antoinette and her extremely generous husband spoke only a little English we were treated to a fabulous stay. The facilities are just outstanding, Tennis court, sauna, jacuzzi swimming pool (the list goes on!). Not only were we greeted by a beer and wine on arrival but he took us through the sites and gave us a map. When we asked to book a taxi on our way home he even prepared breakfast and gave us a lift at 6:30 a.m. - We cannot reccomend the Villa Lantana enough it was superb!

The perfect stay

We arrived in Cap d'Agde a day earlier having reservation at Natureva resort the subsequent two nights. We were informed that there was no room at the inn by the tourist office but they gave us the option of some guest houses. I told them that we'd take anything and they were hesitant to recommend Villa Lantana because they thought it might be expensive. She gave monsieur a call and he informed the madamoiselle that he could accommodate us for around 140 euros. Being road weary we accepted the offer and five minute later we were greeted at the  gate of Villa Lantana by an amiable gentleman and his dog. We were given a tour of the property which looked like it probably had about five or six rooms/suites. There was table tennis, a games room, a nice sized pool, free internet via the computer in the games room, and what looked like a lind of exercise room. Ours was the Lavendar room which was very romantic looking with a nice four poster bed, jacuzzi bath and a patio. The owner is a lovely bloke who speaks as much English as I do French but we got on well! His little white dog was as friendly as the parrot that he also keeps. We were given a continental breakfast with the other guests at a main table in the garden the following morning. The owner was there at hand to stimulate conversation between the couples from all over Europe. A great stay made better by its impromptu nature!

A couple of friends and my family stayed and were bowled over by the great welcome and amazing collections of things on site - tennis - pool and the biggest collection for free bar games ever.

Just amazing!

Some of the reviews you will see do not give the full picture of this B & B. Yes, the people are nice. Yes, it is Quiet. We were told it was 20 mins walk to the port, not! 40 mins later and we were not happy!

The place must have been lovely once. It is dated, gardens need to be cut back as the walk around the place is littered with branches from trees and bushes. Not very safe.

On our arrival we entered the room and we were confronted with numerous mosquitos, my wife bitten 9 times and me three. Now, that should have been sorted with the room being sprayed before we arrived.

Air con in room is very noisy, there is a bath and an attachment for a shower but its not fitted as a shower. We should have been told that in the first place, we prefer a shower and the bath wasn't really big enough for me!

No fridge in the room to keep any water or other items that need cooling. 

The breakfasts were a typical continental breakfast where all the guests sat around the same table. We didn't get an option to sit alone, that would have been our choice.

The house rules! Well, you cannot have your own food and drink in the room! What??? We were not pleased with that.  Also, do not walk on the grass! 

The accommodation is expensive for what you get.
