Stayed here for five nights and loved everything about this hotel. Perfect location just across from the train station - all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! 
The room was very clean and spacious and the shower is amazing ! 
Extremely comfortable beds and great cupboard space for your things. 
The food here is amazing as well we ate downstairs on many occasions and would rate it a ten out of ten! we loved the convenience of being able to get coffee and drinks from the bar .
We felt very welcomed by everyone especially the owner and we will definatly be back !!!

Perfect place to stay 

Needing a one night stopover in this area we found this simple hotel just across the road from Agde train station.    It's nothing special to look at but the rooms are clean and well equipped.

You check in at the bar and the rooms are upstairs.   The girl who checked us in and later served us in the bar was very pleasant and helpful.   She was also there in the morning to serve us breakfast on the terrace.

The hotel is a very short walk from the very old town of Agde which is well worth exploring.    Parking is available on street or in the station car park.

Don't expect luxury but as a nice place to stop on your journey, L'Avenue fits the bill nicely.

Perfect stopover

L'Avenue is a restaurant/pizzeria within 100 mtrs awl;k to the train stn in Agde,where you can get a bus to the airport+ huge holiday colony of Cap D'agde.
The rooms are very well equipped with satellite tv and Wifi.
The location and access to the train and bus services are the main selling point.
Good value and a great location for travelers

The hotel is pretty much the first thing one sees going out from the train station. There are other ones further up the road. After a hot day by rail I wanted somewhere to stay and head to the beach - note that the bus stop is just beside the hotel. Got impression that staff wanted the "hard sell", you can eat in the restaurant but cheap take aways a block uptown. The room I had also had an ashtray and burn marks in the toilet.

Excellent location

Very frosty reception from owner on arrival. Not made to feel welcome at all. It was raining and we arrived cold and wet after cycling to the hotel. The owner complained we were wet! Had to take our wet things off when we entered the hotel. She complained that we tried to dry our clothes in the room. Go elsewhere / the hotel down the road is much better

I stayed in this establishment twice at the beginning and end of a rail holiday to Spain from London. On my outward journey on 18th January I was allocated Room 16 which had no working heating despite the outside temperature being -3c. I went to bed wearing my overcoat and woolly hat. After numerous reguests for a working heater a member of staff eventually brought one to my room at 1-30am. Having already booked to stay here on my return on 26th January I foolishly gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time I was allocated Room 3. The en-suite facility appeared to have no light, there was no seat on the toilet and I couldn't locate the flush. There were also pipes sticking out the wall. Although I requested a no smoking room the room stank of cigarette smoke and there was an ashtray provided. The hotel says there are no smoking rooms available but I was not given one. I got no satisfactory response from the man in the bar who was on duty apart from a shrug of the shoulders. I could not possibly stay in this disgusting room and booked into another hotel in Montpellier. In conversations with the hotel since through Booking.Com I have been told I am not entitled to a refund having already paid in advance. Scandalous!
