There is no AC here and for the ground floor rooms, no privacy screens at windows so kingfisher blue drapes had to be kept drawn all the time making room horribly dingy AND these were't blackout for a proper night's sleep.

Absolutely beautiful setting but attention is needed to improve guests' comfort.

One of my favourite places in the area for several years. Ownership changed last year but the place remains well maintained and managed. It is about 15 min from Uzes, which can be quite busy in summer - therefore the location is ideal for both relaxation in the countryside and easy access to an old town full of charm. 


Special and authentic 

Authentic Mas, beautifully decorated in an amazing location with wonderful views, peaceful and zen. The domain is just wonderful surrounded by olive trees and with a superb swimming pool / area. A perfect getaway to relax, enjoy nature and peace just a few minutes away by car from beautiful Uzes. The owners are wonderful and pay attention to every single details. We will most definitely come back! We stayed in room 1 - spacious with its own terrace and decorated with style. A hidden gem!

Just wonderful!

We traveled as a group and  rented two very spacious suites early spring at "Mas de la Buissonnière". The new owners of the hotel, Karen and Rob, are great hosts going out of their way to make everything perfect. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefuly decorated. The location is superb. A wonderful place to relax and sight-seeing the beautiful area.

Haven of peace and tranquility

It is a challenge to find, but a challenge worth the result.  Our navigation approached from different side of this mini village, the sign was covered by foliage. Beautiful comfortable room, immaculate, countryside, beautiful pool.  Unfortunately our meal at night was woefully undercooked, I think they underestimated the numbers, but the restaurant setting on terrace is gorgeous.  Staff are lovely. A very nice place to just totally kick back and relax, I wish we had another day to enjoy it all.

Peace and tranquility

Probably the best "hotel" experience we have had in France - not the biggest, not the swankiest, not the most expensive but certainly the best time overall, just wish it had been for more than 3 nights. Jorg and Natascha are the consumate hosts, nothing is too much trouble - the location is idyllic, the buildings are lovely and each of the individual rooms / suites are superb. Meal times are the highlight though. The autumn weather meant we ate indoors but this allowed close contact with the kitchen with full details of what sumptuous meal was to come and the real opportunity to interact with our charming hosts. As we were travelling as a group we were treated to a day out at Chateau Beaucastel and Domaine Lafond followed by lunch amongst the vines - a truly unforgettable experience. We will be back !!!!!
