The first impressions of this hotel were extremely positive - a warm greeting, great location with views of the Alps and a very welcome swimming pool. The rooms were basic but clean, with good en suite facilities. The service from the bar was first rate and the food in the restaurant was good - the managers seemed more fraught in the restaurant, however, and did not appear to relish this aspect of the role - perhaps the employment of another pair of hands might be the answer. The only disappointment was that as a group of seven, we were only allowed a limited menu, whilst the couple on a table of two were given the full menu.

Wonderful setting and facilities

Travelled to the hotel with a mixed age group for a sports tournament, hotel in lovely surroundings, with well stocked supermarket nearby, food was set menu for group and was very good. Joelle, Patrick and staff made us most welcome and we would most definitely return.

Friendly family welcome

We have stayed in many of the hotels in this village and this one is a standout. The rooms are huge and well set out. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great and the bar is cosy and inviting. We were staying in January but would be tempted back for summer as there is loads on the property to do. The owners are fabulous hosts and make you feel at home.

Best Hotel in Allevard

I have just spent 5 nights at the Pervenches leading a party of 5 including a 5 year old. The welcome could not have been warmer. The owners were charming and helpful throughout. The hotel is spotlessly clean and warm, the restaurant offers excellent quality and value. There is ample parking, wifi access throughout the hotel and its outbuildings. 
I would also recommend the Skiing resort above the town, Le Collet d'Avellard and the Super Collet. Apart from the first day when it was heaving with skiers it was delightful - a typical local resort with good value food, drink and equipment hire, and lifts to 2000m.
