The setting is fantastic and the atmosphere is nice, a boss who takes good care of his customers, refined cuisine, digestion, nothing better than walking to Jean Jacques Rousseau's house, really two steps away.

Nice setting and atmosphere

The bosses are charming and do everything they can to make our stay enjoyable. Always in the same mood. Very good price ratio!!! The pool, with a little cocktail, it's also very nice.'

What is not my surprise when I read these last reviews. I who stayed there... I find it deplorable to humiliate such kind, supportive, friendly and professional people. What a shame! The hotel certainly has some negative points that the owners are trying to remedy. I think the best I can. They have been here apparently only for two years. I found this hotel charming with a very warm atmosphere. These comments certainly come from people who are not used to much... These small and medium-sized types. These hotels that I will warmly recommend. People give themselves a lot of bad and deserve much more than these derogatory remarks.

Generosity

Eat, but eat fast! Don't make us repeat the menu! Sleep and go fast! -Because we can't take it anymore. A regimental atmosphere, Fleet all over the building! Money... money... when you hold us! Mr. Mercier, where is the fun in your trade? We have a nice living room, unfortunately reserved for TV games, and here for people who come to consume alcoholic drinks. Outside, we also have a great terrace, but if you can stay there, let's put the guests in for five minutes without disturbing the ALVARD, there are not 3 GREATORS in the ALVARD, but there is a good restaurant, and I thought it would be a good idea to have a nice restaurant, but I guess the hotel and the restaurant, which is a good restaurant, have a nice restaurant, and a nice restaurant, and a nice restaurant, and a nice restaurant.

Room in a secondary house and not in the hotel! 1st surprise Moquette room, decoration of the 60s... horrible! Two single single beds and a double bed. Bathroom (water) with leaky faucet, hair in the bathtub (sabo)! No VMC depending on what causes full moisture in the room in the morning.

Three stars?

This hotel has a good location, overlooking the mountains. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms small but equipped with everything you need. As for the managers, the lady is certainly more accommodating, smiling and available than her husband.

More smiles, please!

The first impressions of this hotel were extremely positive - a warm greeting, great location with views of the Alps and a very welcome swimming pool. The rooms were basic but clean, with good en suite facilities. The service from the bar was first rate and the food in the restaurant was good - the managers seemed more fraught in the restaurant, however, and did not appear to relish this aspect of the role - perhaps the employment of another pair of hands might be the answer. The only disappointment was that as a group of seven, we were only allowed a limited menu, whilst the couple on a table of two were given the full menu.

Wonderful setting and facilities

Travelled to the hotel with a mixed age group for a sports tournament, hotel in lovely surroundings, with well stocked supermarket nearby, food was set menu for group and was very good. Joelle, Patrick and staff made us most welcome and we would most definitely return.

Friendly family welcome

We have stayed in many of the hotels in this village and this one is a standout. The rooms are huge and well set out. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great and the bar is cosy and inviting. We were staying in January but would be tempted back for summer as there is loads on the property to do. The owners are fabulous hosts and make you feel at home.

Best Hotel in Allevard

I have just spent 5 nights at the Pervenches leading a party of 5 including a 5 year old. The welcome could not have been warmer. The owners were charming and helpful throughout. The hotel is spotlessly clean and warm, the restaurant offers excellent quality and value. There is ample parking, wifi access throughout the hotel and its outbuildings. 
I would also recommend the Skiing resort above the town, Le Collet d'Avellard and the Super Collet. Apart from the first day when it was heaving with skiers it was delightful - a typical local resort with good value food, drink and equipment hire, and lifts to 2000m.
