Hosts Gaelle and Bruno were very helpful and pleasant!  Very convenient location near Cathedral and main artery of town near the river.  They toured both accommodations and on-property amenities - pool, very shady lawn seating areas, indoor relaxation areas.  They provided bread-basket breakfast - optionally each day for a price.  Rooms were excellent with air-conditioning and modern provisions and space.  Unusual for traditional French hotels/BnBs, they provided convenient and spacious on-site parking as well as daily cleaning service.  Our unit also had private hot tub and sauna.  Gaelle was great and responded quickly to any request, including happily making dinner reservations.  She was able to make reservations at restaurants we could not have gotten on our own.  Super amazing find.

This bed and breakfast was great. The rooms were large and updated! The owners were so nice and super helpful! 
The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from the center of town. There is a lovely  private garden behind the hotel to relax with a glass of wine. I highly recommend this hotel. 

Manoir du Parc

This was a delightful place to stay in Amboise. We had a room in the main house with huge windows, a comfortable bed and wonderful creaky stairs. There was a mini fridge for our wine purchase. The owner was very gracious, informative, and accommodating. The location can’t be beat for a quiet home base close to the sights and restaurants.

A lovely home base for discovering Amboise

Very nice place: close to the centre of town, good free safe parking, really nice rooms..everything worked (!), and Gaille and Bruno were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We spent four nights there and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. Basically it had a really good feel about it!

Great stay over four nights

This place was great!  The location was awesome and it really only does take 5 mins to walk to the main area of town where the Chateau and restaurants and bars are located.  

We checked in around 430 with no issues.  I didn’t get the woman’s name that checked us in but she was very friendly and helpful.  She did speak English so that was a relief!  There were 3 of us so we had an apartment that isn’t attached to the main house.  The beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was equipped with dishes, microwave, sink and fridge. Very clean.  There is free off street parking also a big bonus, in my opinion.  Also a pool that looked nice but we just didn’t have time to enjoy it.  
We ordered breakfast the first morning and it was a basket of baguette, chocolate and plain croissants, OJ, coffee, butter and assorted jams.  It was really good.  You just have to let her know the day before if you want to order that.  It is not included in the room price.  

The WiFi worked well the first night but wasn’t great the other two nights  but we’ve come to expect that when staying in hotels in the US and abroad so nothing to complain about.  

I would recommend and will definitely stay here again if I get to visit Amboise in the future.

Great Stay at Manoir du Parc!

Really nice chateau, it’s in a prime location about 5 mins to the castle. Big clean room, wonderful swimming pool (we basically had it to ourselves because everybody goes out site seeing) lovely grounds, free parking oh and they have a nice cat! The pool is very clean and looked after and heated! I thought I lost my sunglasses on a night out and it ended up being in there office because I left it by the pool. Very honest!!

Prime location

You read suite, but it is a worn apartment. It does not have wifi nor air conditioning. Old design and furniture. Uncomfortable sofa (it is an old sofa-bed). Low natural light, the garden plants stop it. Mini toilet with only shower, the jacuzzi is outside in a wooden close. Broom and dustpan in the WC, big fan in one closet and fire extinguisher inside the room. I still can not explain the sink inside the room. I was looking for two rooms and there was only available one room and the suite. I booked them and the "suite" has nothing to do with a suite. Make sure you read all the information before booking. Be careful with the Suite

Pulled up at Manoir Du Parc after a long day of travel and what a sight to behold! Behind a gate lies a gravelled driveway beneath a spectacular, romantic building! Very well maintained, lovely gardens, clean and tidy, the hotel is a haven in Amboise. We could see its roof from the awesome Amboise castle, standing proud on the skyline. Very good location only a few minutes walk from the centre of the action. We used the pool on two days and we were the only people there, which was very relaxing. Safe parking for our car. The room was very quaint with a spotless bathroom. Floors were creaky but what to expect from an old property like this? It added to its charm! Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location

Lovely view of the Castle/Chateau and an easy walk to the City center.  The amenities in the cabin were wonderful including your own elevated patio to watch the stars come out.  The remaining amenities were less than perfect, but it did include parking which was appreciated.

Ask for the Tree House Cabin

When we arrived late and fatigued at approximately 11 p.m., the gate was locked and we could not get in.  After finally managing to contact the owner, we were permitted inside, but not without reprimand.  The owner informed my new husband and me that we had awakened her, and that we should have called earlier to let her know we would be arriving late.  Granted.  I apologized and said I understood her point.  She then questioned my husband, whose perspective was that of a business owner, and he politely stated in all honesty that he did not understand.  The owner appeared to become quickly agitated, and asked us to leave the premises.  We had previously made a reservation for two nights, and were stunned at this apparent unprofessional behavior.  We left the property in a state of shock with nowhere else to spend the second night of our honeymoon, and ended up sleeping in our rental car.  We had to scramble to find new accommodations for the following night, but fortunately located a remarkably lovely hotel in Chenonceaux where we were allowed to check in early, offered free coffee and French croissants, and were essentially treated like royalty.  What a difference another hotel makes.
