The hotel is centrally located though is in a dodgy side alley and looks v scruffy from the outside (not much better inside)
It is not possible to gain entry until 4pm so you can’t even leave your bags. 
The rooms are very poorly decorated and have to be seen to be believed- there was a hole in the wall which had been bodged up with a piece of material which hung off if you shut the shower door.
The shower was narrow in a made shift cupboard and had a couple of jets it did not rest on the hook so was not easily usable.  There was no toilet in the room - just one shared toilet for the whole floor. There was no hot water in the morning- we complained and checked out early.  We paid 180 euros for 2 rooms which is quite a lot considering no toilet or hot water.  The hotel refused to give anything back for the substandard room and conditions arguing that the hot water was only off for a couple of hours - even though this was between 9-11 when you need to get ready!
Truly shocking place - we managed to book a much better accommodation in Annecy - the Adonis also in the old town which was far nicer for a similar price.

So bad it was funny at first

Lovely quirky establishment in the old town, 10 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes from the heart of the old town itself and the lake side.    Overlooking a canal, this is a lovely little spot. The hospitality was lovely and welcoming and our sweet little room was ideal.  Traditionally appointed, very clean and with a perfectly functioning ensuite bathroom, our stay was perfect.   You need to be ok with stairs and happy with old fashioned décor (some may find this out of kilter with modern standards, but we liked the fact that the place was unique and welcoming).  It has to be said that with some (serious) investment, this place could be really rather spectacular – but then you would be paying much more to stay here, and Annecy is not the cheapest town in France.  
We don’t usually opt for breakfast at the hotels we stay in, but seeing a family cosily ensconced in the breakfast room, we wished we had opted to do so on this occasion. If we visited Annecy again, we would definitely stay here.  A throw back in some respects, but I would hate to revisit it in 5 years to find it had become an anonymous addition to quasi ‘boutique’ hotel modernity.

Quirky and in a great location - remembered for good reasons, not bad

The "Hotel" is based in a dilapidated building (sharing with permanent residents) and is in need of investment and refurbishment, the lack of proper facilities is not hidden by the confusing and bizarre decor.  Our room was cramped and we had no where to put our clothes which remained in the suitcase.  The walls were wafer thin and so every noise in the toilet and next door could be clearly heard.  There is no lift and reception is only open part of the time.  We used to run a B&B so would have changed this room into a comfortable single bedroom and would have removed the dangerous polystyrene ceiling tiles (which of course did not even match) for starters.
On the positive side the wifi worked, The staff member who booked us in was friendly and the location is great.  Could be a very good hotel with some effort

Not really fit for purpose as a Hotel

This was a last minute booking and to be honest we just needed somewhere cheap to get our heads down.
After driving around for an hour we eventually found out the hotel is down alley way off a pedestrian road. My tip is to first park in the main underground car park by the lake and it's a 5 min walk to the hotel.

Very nice lady checked us in a showed us to our room.

The room
quirky at best or old and dated it's like no other hotel room I have stayed in before. There was a small shower and sink but the toilet was down the corridor.

Right in the centre of town close to everything

Breakfast
Did not try the breakfast as we needed to get away early.

Parking
Underground car park approx 5 mins away at the palace de villes and if you get a ticket from reception only about €3 to park for the evening.

Overall
You get what you pay for in life, but if you want cheap and a great location this place should suit. 

Very old and quirky 

Found this place on a lark after a long day of biking. Amazing spot off an alley n a heavily touristed area. Very funky and cool. You'll never find it on a map. If you want an amazing little gem tucked away from the tourists this is the place.
