Camping Antipolis is closed for the summer season 2016 following serious flooding in October 2015 when the local Brague river burst its banks and caused serious damage to property. A number of people died from drowning in the area, but not in Antipolis itself. The camp site owners are currently in negotiations with the local council regarding stronger flood protections and a possible re-opening next year, if possible.
Many of the local campsites along the Brague river are also closed to the general public this year for the same reasons, including Camping du Pylone and Les Frenes.
Les Frenes has been totally cleared of all mobile homes, but fresh negotiations with a private company are believed to be going on behind closed doors.
Surprisingly the three-star La Sequoia Camp site next door to Antipolis is allowed to open and is doing a roaring trade at the moment. La Sequoia fills up very quickly, so it makes sense to book well in advance. Vacant camp sites are in short supply in the Brague area this year.

Bit disappointed with this campsites. It has packed its pitches and bungalows together on a few roads all converging near the swimming pool. We stayed on a pitch with private sanitary which looked clean.  Although everything was fine on the outside, I never gained the relaxed holiday feeling. I cannot put a finger on exactly what was wrong with this campsite but what certainly wasn't helping was the staff at the reception. They gave the shortest replies possible without being really helpful but just enough so you couldn't complain. The pool is ok but again staff not very helpful. My husband cut his face while swimming and bumping his head and the staff did nothing to help but hand out a paper towel to stem the bleeding. The food is reasonable but expensive. This place seem to attract beach goers and marineland tourists (no surprises there). The place lacked the typical campsite feeling where people like to mingle like at other campsites we went to in France. 

It's situated right next two the A8 and the roaring cars in the background make this campsite not very relaxing especially at night when all background noise has died down and all you can hear is particularly loud motor noise. So don't come here if you're sensitive to noise. 

Ok for short stay but don't expect a relaxed holiday atmosphere

The mobile homes (we rented 2 mobile homes) were not clean. The inventory was also dirty. The girls at the reception desk (who, by the way, are also the cleaning ladies) are not capable of dealing with complaints and are certainly not willing to help. The surroundings look green on the photos and I must admit: for such a desolate part of the south of France they really managed to plant a lot of green between the mobile homes. But the space between the mobile homes is very limited. Some mobile homes did not even have enough space to park a car. If you expect grass on a camping then Antipolis will also dissapoint you: even the places which are reserved for tents etc have no grass but pebblestones. WiFi is expensive and you have to find a spot in or near you mobile home for reception. If you love vacation, do not go to camping Antipolis. It's a very frustrating place to be. We decided to go home before the end of our rental period.

Unhygienic

What a shame. A campsite with generally good facilities, especially the individual bathroom units on each pitch.Also it is near St Biot railway station and convenient for Riviera resorts. However I would not recommend staying there because of the very poor customer service. Expect long waits at the reception. Expect an uncaring attention to your booking. This with rudenes led to frustration which was entirely unecessary. 
Be also aware that this campsite will encourage you to pay a booking fee to reserve the pitch. ( This can be common place in France). However this is a fee which is totally unrefundable even if you stay. This campsite failed to provide me with the booking conditions until after payment was made. I was eventually refunded after approaching the Camping Cheque Authorities for assistance.

Good Facililities - spoilt by terrible customer service

Stayed there with my husband and fifteen year old daughter for 5 days in July. We got a taxi from Nice airport to the site which was €60 for the three of us so I would advise taking a bus or train if you don't want to spend that kind of money. It was late when we arrived, around 11pm so we had to ring the campsite reception to tell them we would be checking in late. When we arrived we were greeted by the security guard who asked for a passport as security because the reception and check in areas weren't open- I will say this did worry me because I like to keep my passport with me, but it turned out to be completely fine when I got it back the next morning. We were staying in a mobile in the d block. This was an excellent location as it was very close to the castel studio and swimming pool. When we got our bearings in the mobile we decided to go down to the restaurant for a bite to eat. It was the night of the world cup final so the place was buzzing. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed at that time but we were able to have some desserts which were absolutely gorgeous. We met a wonderful waitress named Chou Chou who spoke English almost fluently and was extremely friendly and thankful when we tipped her. During our 5 day stay there she did everything to help us. The site is located near a casino supermarket and an intermarché. It is also a 10 minute walk from the site to a pebbly beach and biot train station. Monaco is about a 30 minute train ride and Cannes is about 15 minutes away-both are places I would recommend visiting. There is a wonderful holiday atmosphere about the site with young children roaming around freely. The campsite is very safe and I was quiet happy to let my daughter walk alone around there at night. There is also wonderful family entertainment each night- mostly free of charge and each morning local traders come in and set up stalls,mainly for clothes and handbags-which my daughter and I both enjoyed browsing.
I would also like to say that the staff are second to none I've ever seen in my life. They speak a multitude of languages  and are very friendly - especially Chou Chou the waitress and the very helpful Betty Boop in reception. The man that works in the grocery shop is also very friendly and chatty. 
The mobile itself is quite basic but it's nice. It doesn't have a tv though, which we were annoyed with at the start but then we realized how nice it was to escape technology for a while. 
The only fault that I do have is the check out times - you have to check out before noon which can be difficult if you have a late flight but they do allow you to stay on at the site after you have checked out. The site is also located near a bus stop and the 250 bus which takes you straight to the airport in Nice.
All in all it was a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend this site over a hotel as it is much more relaxed and family orientated.We had been saving to go to France for a good few years and we were delighted that Antipolis fulfilled all of our expectations. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would recommend Camping Antipolis to anyone.
