A great meal... welcome very well, my wife took the menu and I, the wine deal... everything was exceptional with a map that changes every week.

An outstanding meal in a beautiful setting

A new visit that is always as successful. Together with a high-quality meal with a special commentary on the burnt foie gras cream. The accompaniment with the castle wines only reinforces the pleasure felt.

A must-see during our holidays in the area. A beautiful site with a quality restaurant. A warm home. The privilege of having lunch with a superb view on the terrace. Delicious cuisine and quality wines too.

It's a must.

Everything is perfect. The staff takes the time to welcome you and introduce you to the castle and its facilities. The rooms are impeccable and carefully decorated. The 25m granite swimming pool and the jacuzzi allow you to relax in an idyllic setting. The breakfast is made of quality products. The owner is charming and lavish. On the wine side the cellar is modern and tasting allows you to taste well-built and pleasant wines. On the restaurant side: very large terrace overlooking the vineyards and the sea. Very good quality price ratio with a formula that changes every week. In addition, wine, at the cellar, is at the price of the table, and is even offered if you buy a carton of 6 bottles. In summary, it is a romantic and magical gathering to buy everything.

It's perfect.

An extraordinary experience sleeping in any of the five rooms of this chateau.Excellently renovated by its owner, it has impressive views over the vineyards that produce an excellent range of wines.The rosado is very famous.The lounges are impressive and breakfast is very complete.The staff is always attentive to any wishes of the customers.The pool is not to be missed.It is entirely in granite and 5x25 meters with large terraces for relaxing and sunbathing.It has its own bar service.

It's well worth the trip to enjoy one of its five rooms and taste the wines of the Chateau.

With friends we went to the restaurant at Valmy Castle. Menu at 39€ entrance plate dessert cheese. The entrance was very good. The dish: chicken supreme was not cooked enough, the semoule not terrible. The cheese assortment: low-end The dessert: chocolate dome was good The wines are at the price of the cellar so very interesting. The waitresses are very pro.

Dinner

A visit to the park even with the hotel closed, remains a beautiful garden to see, you can enter for free, there's a lot to see, especially if you like plants, everything is referenced there, even a small children's park and sometimes animals.

A very nice welcome. A beautiful very clean room with a very large very comfortable bed. Breakfast at the top served by Veronica, nice, dynamic, always smiling person and good advice for romantic walks in the area. The friendly housewife shares the life of the castle and her family, we loved it. A well-maintained, clean swimming pool at our disposal for a good morning start. A great thank you for this pure moment of happiness at your home.

We're feeling really good.

It had been quite a while since our last visit which we enjoyed so was hoping the standard was being maintained. It certainly was!
We had hoped to eat outdoors as we feel more comfortable doing that in the current Covid issue but for some reason this was not an option. We were pleased to see that the tables were spaced at a reasonable distance so we felt comfortable being inside after all.
We went with the 4 course option - entrée, plat, from ages and dessert and selected one of their reds as accompaniment. There is only a choice of 2 dishes for each course apart from the cheese which some might find restrictive but we were OK with it. Unusually for us,we both had the same entrée - Foie gras de canard - and main course - Iberian pork in a pleasant sauce with accompanying vegetables. Both courses were very good. The cheese is ‘as is’ as you get what you are given with no choice and we were also happy with that. For dessert,it was a chocolate based dessert for the wife and the tartelette maison for me. Both were good. The bottle of red also helped things along nicely.
The view out across the vineyards to the sea is still stunning and the serving went about their jobs in a very professional and friendly way given these difficult times. 
Will we being going again. Yes, definitely when next in the area!

Still as good as previously!

Five of us went for a Birthday Dinner. The indoor restaurant was closed, but it was a lovely, balmy evening, and the views made sitting outside worthwhile.

The food really was splendid: we had the "Formule Accord Mets & Vins", which was a well chosen 4-course meal with wine pairing. I enclose the menu: it tasted as good as it reads...

The wines manufactured (and served) at the vineyard -in which the restaurant is set - are also top quality, and rate as highly as anywhere else in France. If your staying anywhere near here, you owe it to yourself to book a table. You will not be disappointed!
